Excellent service! We stayed with our child and they were incredibly accommodating. We were given a room with the best sea and beach view. The hotel has an excellent, clean pool with fantastic service. The breakfast is delicious, and on weekends they have a magnificent dinner buffet with steaks, kebabs, lamb, wine, beer, and much more! Before check-out, during breakfast, they even gave us a container to pack some food for our train journey. The staff deserves 100 points! Highly recommend!

An excellent hotel, truly living up to the Shangri-La name. The rooms are spacious with fantastic views. The hotel staff are professional and attentive; the concierge even helped us with our luggage to the room. The breakfast spread is extensive, and the freshly fried dough sticks (youtiao) are absolutely delicious. The hotel is conveniently located, about a 15-minute walk to attractions like the 'Eye of Qinhuangdao' and 'Qinhuang Xiaoxiang' (Qinhuang Alley), and it's also easy to get to Xigang Garden. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Qinhuangdao.

Facilities: Decent, nothing special. Hygiene: Consistently excellent. Environment: Just a few minutes walk to the beach, which is absolutely amazing! Service: Fantastic! From the front desk and greeters to the housekeeping staff, everyone was incredibly warm, attentive, and always willing to help.

This is our nth time coming here! We bring our child every summer for a few days. This time, the front desk staff and cleaning ladies were all incredibly warm and welcoming. Our child had a fantastic time playing in the sand at the beach and swimming at the hotel. The hotel breakfast and buffet dinner were also delicious!

The breakfast was great, and the service, pool, cleanliness, and Wi-Fi were all excellent. The delivery robot bringing takeout right to the room door was super convenient. The surrounding facilities are also fantastic; it's easy to shop and dine out. The only minor drawback is the lack of a self-service laundry and dryer. Since we're at the beach, not being able to do laundry is a bit inconvenient.

The TV kept freezing and showing static, and even after they tried to fix it, it was still no good. They only provided a buckwheat pillow core, without a disposable pillowcase. There was no laundry detergent, so I had to handwash my underwear and socks. It's hard to believe this is the most expensive hotel in Qinhuangdao. The only bright spot in terms of service was the security guard at the entrance.

1. Waited two hours to check in. 2. I had specifically requested a high-floor, sea-facing room in advance through the platform and directly with the hotel. However, I was given a city-view room with a partial sea view. After multiple negotiations, they finally moved me to a lower-floor sea-view room. What was the point of my prior request then? The front desk staff's service was quite subpar, making me wait 'another 10 minutes, then another 10 minutes.' 3. I repeatedly asked for an extra duvet, but the hotel surprisingly couldn't provide one. This is truly speechless; a star-rated hotel unable to provide an extra duvet is unbelievable. 4. Be careful with the chairs on the balcony; don't lean back too far as they can easily tip over.

Stayed for six nights and didn't get an upgrade. Aside from the concierge, there was no service whatsoever. Housekeeping was incredibly sloppy; it felt like they just made the bed and changed the towels, not actually cleaned. I noticed the nightstand wasn't wiped for at least three days, and the area under the window wasn't cleaned for at least three or four days. The TV is from 10 years ago. Overall, it's more like a slightly upgraded hostel than a proper hotel.

The room had beautiful floor-to-ceiling windows with a stunning sea view. The service all around was excellent. The hotel opens right onto the beach, which is in a non-touristy area, making it quiet and pleasant. The lady at the lobby bar was very attentive and made us feel welcome. It would be even better if the breakfast selection were a bit more varied.

I've stayed here a few times now, and the facilities, cleanliness, and environment are consistently excellent. However, there are quite a few issues: Firstly, the air conditioning is always too cold in summer; even with a light jacket and long pants, it's still freezing. Secondly, I tried to check in at 2:30 PM, and the front desk staff, a young man with glasses, told me my reserved room was ready and just being inspected, asking me to wait in the lobby and promising a call. After waiting for half an hour with no news, I went back to the front desk, only to find out my room key had already been processed, but no one had informed me. The staff member with glasses was also nowhere to be found. This level of service attitude and work efficiency is truly speechless. I hope the hotel strengthens its training for staff regarding their professional skills and service awareness.

The hotel's location is great, very close to the beach, so you can go beachcombing for small shrimp in the mornings. Environment: A bit old but still acceptable. Service: The staff were very friendly. There was a long queue for breakfast.

The hotel boasts an excellent location on a high floor, offering spacious rooms with beautiful views. The service is warm and attentive, and it provides great value for money. The only minor drawback is that the facilities are a bit dated.

The hotel's sea view room offered a first-rate view; I could take in the entire Golden Dream Bay panorama right from the balcony. There's a special gate for hotel guests to access the beach, which made catching the sunrise incredibly convenient. Room service was attentive and patient, and the room itself was clean and tidy. The breakfast selection was extensive. Overall, it was an excellent stay.

This is my go-to hotel for business trips. What I value most about Shangri-La is their impeccable service; every staff member is top-notch, always ready to answer questions and fulfill requests. A big thanks to the front desk for arranging a room with such a great sea view! The underground parking lot is huge. I'll definitely choose Shangri-La again next time I'm in Qinhuangdao.
