The hotel was clean and hygienic, and the staff provided excellent service, promptly addressing any issues. The breakfast spread was also very rich. The only minor drawback was the lack of air conditioning in the elevator, which could be a bit uncomfortable for people who are very sensitive to heat. Overall, I was extremely satisfied.

Facilities: The hotel breakfast, while not as extensive as a five-star, offers all the essentials and the quality is good. Environment: The hotel is centrally located in Qinhuangdao, about equidistant from Shanhaiguan and Beidaihe. It's approximately 4 kilometers from the nearest Jinmeng Bay. You'll need to book a taxi early when returning to the hotel from that area, as waiting times can be at least 30 minutes.

This was my first stay at a Mercure, and I was really impressed. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, and every single staff member greeted me with a warm smile, showing incredible patience and kindness. What really blew me away was the breakfast – it was absolutely fantastic, with a huge variety of delicious food. All the pastries were handmade, and a staff member even offered to pack some up for me to take away, which was such a thoughtful touch!

We stayed for two nights with my parents and kids and it was very comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and they refilled dishes quickly. The waitresses were lovely and kind, and all the hotel staff were polite, friendly, and welcoming. During the Spring Festival, there were lucky draws and intangible cultural heritage handicraft activities. I'll definitely choose Mercure Hotel again next time!

The hotel is situated in the Jinmeng Bay area, close to the coastline, and within walking distance of the beach. You can feel the seaside ambiance just by opening your window, and it's very convenient to reach nearby shopping centers and seafood restaurants. Driving to destinations like Aranya and Blue Coast is smooth and hassle-free, offering great flexibility for travel. The rooms are expansive and well-arranged, and the housekeeping is meticulous. The overall environment is quiet and peaceful, ensuring that babies can rest and sleep well. The indoor facilities are complete, and the space is ample, making it easy to place strollers and baby essentials, creating a strong sense of home and a relaxing, unconstrained stay. The front desk staff are friendly, check-in is efficient and quick, and they respond promptly to any needs, showing particular patience and thoughtfulness towards guests with children. The hotel's public areas are neat and clean, with an elegant environment free from noise and clutter, providing a stable and peaceful resting environment for children.

We're big fans of the Mercure brand, and this particular hotel absolutely lived up to our expectations, leaving a fantastic impression. Our room was spacious, bright, and well-equipped, with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast spread was extensive and offered a great variety. The location is excellent, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby for dining and retail therapy. The large Xinglong Guangyuan supermarket conveniently located right downstairs was a huge plus. Getting to tourist attractions by taxi was also straightforward. They even gave us a small snack pack when we checked out. What truly highlighted their exceptional service and trustworthiness was receiving a call after we'd left, informing us about forgotten items in the room. Even though they weren't ours, this honest gesture spoke volumes. Highly recommended!
