Park Plaza Hainan Qionghai

Park Plaza Hotel. Very nice! Exceeded my expectations! They even had Hainan specialty welcome fruits – a coconut 🥥. The staff mentioned it opened in August 2025, so many of the facilities are indeed new and up-to-date, thumbs up! 👍 I originally planned to stay at the Hilton Garden Inn, but its decor is several years old. I stayed there two years ago and it felt pretty average. Comparing the prices (Park Plaza had a discount, Hilton Garden Inn didn't), I decisively chose Park Plaza. Another advantage is that it's about a 20-minute walk from Qionghai High-Speed Rail Station. If you walk at night, there are lights and bustling shops along the way, so there's nothing to worry about. To get to the Hilton, you definitely need a taxi, especially at night, as the road is very dark with few and dim streetlights. You also have to cross 'Brave Bridge,' and the road is narrow and uneven, making it impossible to walk... All in all, my experience at Park Plaza this trip was excellent 👍👍👍. Between the two, I highly recommend Park Plaza.

The hotel location is convenient, and there's a parking lot. It's clean and tidy, and the staff are warm and attentive. Our room had welcome fruit, and the room facilities felt very high-tech. Plus, the breakfast had a great variety. Definitely recommend staying here!

I noticed some changes during my check-in, which showed that the hotel takes guest feedback to heart and acts quickly. Their breakfast service and improvements deserve a thumbs up. The staff, from the front desk to the restaurant, were very welcoming, check-in was efficient, and they greeted me proactively – a great experience. The hotel's location is also very convenient, right next to a Luckin Coffee, making it easy to grab a cup in the morning. In the evening, I went to a music bar in the city called Folk Music Collection; the atmosphere was fantastic, I didn't expect to find such a place in a small city.
