The hotel location is amazing besides the sea. You can hear the roar of the waves from the balcony. Excellent for children as well.

Very unhygienic hotel. Baby cockroaches crawling on the tables and toilet and even on the bed. Balcony door requires great strength to be opened. Main door can’t be closed properly, with the latch being rusty. Hotel common swimming pool has a lot of black sediments inside, not sure if chlorine was even added. Table tennis bat and ball are mouldy and of poor quality. Poor service by customer at the counter. She doesn’t even look at you in the eye when you’re asking her a question. Corridor is run down with bad lighting. Book at your own risk.

It’s very confusing to check in as this hotel is located on the 1st floor of the other building. Receptionist needs to speed up the check in process. No phone available in the room to call front desk. But the room was clean and spacious, view was amazing. No cutlery available even though there is a mini kitchen. Fridge is not working.

Extremely negative review: The hygiene and safety issues in room 2223 of the Boao Asia Bay Hotel are appalling! My stay on June 8th was a truly terrible experience, completely shattering my trust in the hotel. Everything seemed normal upon arrival, but after a 10-minute shower, I discovered what looked like blood on the faucet! I instantly thought of the potential risk of HIV, syphilis, hepatitis, and other infections. I was terrified and exhausted. So, the same night I checked out, I drove 40 minutes to stay at the Four Seasons Hotel Qionghai. Even more infuriating was the hotel's perfunctory attitude. Not only did they deny the suspected blood stains, they still haven't given a definitive answer as to whether they were blood or whether there were any infectious diseases. They showed no sincerity! Although room 2223 has been sealed, the hotel's handling of the situation is disheartening, demonstrating a complete disregard for the health and safety of guests. With such poor hygiene and management, I personally do not recommend this hotel at all! Please choose carefully and read their reviews to avoid similar risks. My trip to Boao was completely ruined by this hotel!
