Traditions of Wadi Rum Camp & JeepTour

The location is superb. Everything you need is there. A tip for those driving: contact the hotel in advance; they'll be in touch with you about your destination. When entering the Wadi Rum desert, the police will tell you to first get your Jordan Pass stamped (be sure to purchase one before your trip to Jordan; it's both a visa and a ticket to many attractions) or buy a ticket. Don't listen to anyone about where to get the stamp and don't be too picky. Locals will tell you, "You have a bad hotel, a bad location, and I'll give you a better one." Don't believe them, just keep in touch with the hotel, and you won't regret it. Everything is so cozy and luxurious.

The boss is very nice! The room is also super big, very clean and comfortable, and you can see the starry sky from the door. The food was super generous at every meal, each bowl was bigger than my hand, and the people were very enthusiastic. They helped me contact the driver to Petra and sent me to the visitor center. Take the initiative to give lots of cold water every time. The boss is also very nice to talk to. He said that if there are many people, they will have a bonfire party and sing and dance together, but since I was the only one that day, it was a pity that I didn’t experience it.

Para empezar al llegar se nos indicaron las actividade que podíamos realizar e incluso se nos forzó un poco a que aceptaramos todas las actividades porque de lo contrario nos ibamos a arrepentir, al final acabamos aceptando a pesar de que sabíamos que nos estaban inflando los precios (pregunten precios antes de llegar, hay mas campamentos como este por la zona con los mismos servicios) además nos indicaron actividades que eran muy caras como ir a tomar el thé por la noche porque segun ellos (todos iban) acabé solo con mi hermana tomando thé en el desierto por el módico precio de 50 dinares... Además, nuestra habitación estaba sucia y tuvimos que exigir hasta en 3 ocasiones que por favor se limpiara, al final, gracias a nuestra insistencia nos cambiaron de habitacion. Para acabar, al devolver las llaves quisimos mostrar nuestro malestar en nuestra estancia pero no había nadie del personal para atendernos, acabamos dejando las llaves en mostrador y saliendo por nuestros propios medios del desierto ya que no había nadie para guiarnos a la salida. En fin, les recomiendo que miren más campamentos por la zona y pregunten precios de todo antes de ir para no llevaros más sorpresas.
