Holiday Inn Express QUANZHOU LICHENG by IHG

When I first entered the hotel room, there was a stuffy, unpleasant smell. However, the overall cleanliness seemed good, and the 1.8-meter bed was spacious and comfortable. But when I showered at night, the shower door opened inwards, and I accidentally hit my foot, causing two scratches. That's when I noticed the shower door wasn't very clean; there were yellowish stains. I didn't take a photo as proof, but even two days after returning home, with my wound still a bit swollen, those stains on the door kept flashing before my eyes. I'm worried about potential viruses 😭. The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, quite simple, but it was enough for me as I don't eat much.

Five-star review! Especially the lovely receptionist, Xiao Lin, and Jia Le, who both provided excellent service. They were very helpful and answered all our questions. We'll definitely choose this hotel again next time!

The room was spacious and quiet. The front desk staff, especially Li Jiayao and Xiao Lin, were very friendly and provided excellent service. Their smiles were beautiful!

The room was spacious enough, and the soundproofing was excellent. The bedding was also good. The breakfast could use some improvement. Every staff member at the front desk was quick to assist, especially Xiao Lin, who was very enthusiastic and helpful.

I originally booked for 3 nights, and since I liked it so much, I extended my stay for another night. Overall, it was really comfortable and clean. The hotel's breakfast buffet was also great, and the staff were all very warm and friendly.

The location is a bit out of the way, surrounded by Quanzhou's automobile city. The room is very small. While it might be around 200-300 RMB on a weekday, it shot up to 500-600 RMB during Golden Week. That's really overpriced and not worth that much. The only good thing was the hot water.

Still InterContinental, highly recommended. The lobby offers free self-service ice cream 🍦, which is great for kids. The breakfast is also very rich, and they're quite relaxed about children's height limits and such. The front desk staff are warm and friendly, and the parking attendant at the entrance is also enthusiastic. Overall, five-star rating, highly recommend staying here.
