InterContinental Hotels QUANZHOU by IHG

The experience at InterContinental Quanzhou exceeded my expectations! As soon as I walked in, I was touched by the warm and thoughtful service; it felt incredibly welcoming. I was lucky enough to get an upgrade to a higher floor, and the view was clear and expansive, even better than the river view room I stayed in before. The breakfast buffet had an amazing variety, with both Chinese and Western options, all fresh and delicious. At night, the city and river views combined to create a fantastic ambiance. It was a comfortable and pleasant stay, definitely worth checking out!

The overall facilities were definitely up to par; the bedding and towels were very comfortable, and the room was spacious. The environment was also great, with river views and a Ferris wheel right outside the window. What I wasn't happy about was that the hotel didn't have a self-service laundry, and ordering laundry service separately was very expensive. In this regard, it's not even as good as Atour. Also, the breakfast was really bad. On the first day, I tried it and felt like nothing was good. The oyster omelet was full of green onions, just green onions, I couldn't even taste any oysters! I skipped breakfast entirely on the second day, preferring to sleep in instead.

The front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating; they helped me sort out a booking error I made with the dates. When my room wasn't ready, they offered complimentary drinks at the lobby bar. The room itself was very large and spacious, with welcome fruits and coffee. The tea bags provided were also of excellent quality. The swimming pool water was very clean, and the gym was open 24 hours with a great stretching machine. The view from the window was fantastic.

The room was quite clean, and I made use of the gym and pool. Breakfast was incredibly varied and delicious. I really enjoyed the afternoon tea in the lobby, especially the desserts, which you could help yourself to – super convenient! Plus, there's a big shopping mall right downstairs, making shopping and dining incredibly easy. It's also really close to Xunpu Village; you can get there quickly by shared bike.

My stay at InterContinental Quanzhou Taihe exceeded my expectations! The room was spacious and bright, and the cleanliness was impeccable, making for a truly comfortable stay. Breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options. When I informed them I was leaving early, they even thoughtfully prepared a packed breakfast for me. The hotel is conveniently located right next to Taihe Plaza, with plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping choices. Highly recommended!

Room 270 offers an unparalleled panoramic view, making for a truly enjoyable stay. On New Year's Eve, we were treated to a spectacular fireworks display from homes along the river, as well as the Ferris wheel's light show 🎡. The only minor flaw was the crowded breakfast on the morning of the first day of the ***** New Year; otherwise, I couldn't find a single fault. This is, without a doubt, the best hotel of my trip. The service, as expected from an InterContinental hotel, further highlighted their professionalism and meticulous attention to detail. As a member, I wholeheartedly give it five stars. It truly is the pinnacle of hotels in Fuzhou!
