The hotel lobby was beautifully decorated for Chinese New Year, and the overall service was excellent! All the staff, including the housekeepers, were proactive in greeting guests and even striking up a short conversation. I booked this hotel two months in advance, mainly because I loved the 'beauty rest' bench in the room – it was so convenient for placing my belongings. The lobby offered hot water, tea, and a variety of self-service amenities like hand cream, sunscreen, steam eye masks, 7-Eleven mouthwash, disposable face towels, earplugs, tissues, and face masks. During Chinese New Year, breakfast featured a different special each day. Yesterday was ginger duck, the day before was 'Run Cai Bing' (a local snack), and today it was glutinous rice cakes. The hotel is conveniently located right next to Dongmen Bus Station with many bus routes, making it easy to get around. Donghu Park is also right next door, perfect for an early morning stroll to enjoy the fresh air and lush greenery. The only downside is that the hotel doesn't offer lunch or dinner. During Chinese New Year, when all restaurants have long queues, I really wished there was a place to eat without having to wait for ages.

The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable. The service was thoughtful, even providing hair clips and ties for women, and makeup remover and facial cleanser. The attention to detail was excellent! There's also laundry service and fitness equipment, which I highly recommend! The only downside is that it's a bit far from attractions like Kaiyuan Temple, so you'll need to take a taxi.
