Search Your Queenscliff Hotels

Just stay one night in Queenscliff and take the ferry across the sea to the Mornington Peninsula the next day. When we arrived at around six o'clock in the evening, there were no people in the town and all the shops were closed. Searching for hotels here on Ctrip, there are not many, and there are not many choices for room types suitable for a couple like us with three children. Only this one is more suitable. The disadvantage is that the bathroom is shared and there is no kitchen. According to the mobile phone text message sent by the seller, I opened the password door of the whole building and found the key to my room on the front desk. The public bathroom is very clean, and there is a tea room. The shops outside are closed, so the food we brought was heated in the microwave here. When we left the next day, we met the male owner of the house, who enthusiastically helped us show the way to the port. This building should be an old building, like a museum. Being in it feels like traveling through time, which is also a good experience! I only saw an old couple staying this night. We were the only two guests in the castle-like building. The child was a little scared and didn't dare to go to the toilet by himself😂.

Due to an accommodation issue in Ballarat we decided to change our destination to Queenscliff. Hunting online for somewhere to stay at the last minute we found Ruby’s. What a lovely place. Ralph was very welcoming. We stayed in a two room cottage to the side of the owner’s home. The accommodation has two spacious rooms, lounge/kitchenette area and separate bedroom with ensuite. The kitchenette has a microwave, toaster and kettle along with crockery and cutlery. Lovely fresh decor with sofas and heating in both rooms. The WiFi is fast and water hot. There is a shared outdoor space with a BBQ and in ground pool. Ruby’s is situated in a quiet area and literally a couple of minutes walk from the main street of Queenscliff. Close to shops, cafes, galleries and a short walk to the water, it’s in the perfect position. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We’d definitely stay again and would recommend as good value accommodation with style.

Parking, breakfast, and minibar were included/complimentary, which was great. However, the room we stayed was small, significantly smaller than 33 square meters as listed. Further, the view from the terrace was another disappointment, from which we could only see the building nearby. Overall, the hotel was below our expectations for an intercontinental property.

We had a two night stay for a wedding in Sorrento. The room was spacious with a lot of little extras like plates, bowls and cutlery, dishwashing liquid and tea towel and of course the usual tea/coffee/milk. The bathroom was big with toiletries included. There was also a big TV. Everything was clean and although it is on Melbourne Road it was quiet due to the concrete walls. Would definitely stay again - the owner/proprietor was very accommodating and friendly.

Took a small group to Ocean Grove & stayed at The Riverside Motel for 4 nights. The service was truly amazing. The owners Elise & Michael, who are the friendliest couple, went above and beyond, to ensure everyone's needs were met & then some. The units were so very comfortable & the continental breakfasts so very generous. Thanks Elise, Michael & our wonderful tour guide & driver Neville. Whilst we had a nice stay, we have stayed elsewhere a little more luxurious for a simular cost so we won’t be back. But if your a family, love the beach then this is more suitable as it is very clean, spacious has a pool and bbq area that’s nice and the beach is across the road. There was nothing negative about the stay, great price, friendly staff, semi modern room (motel style) and the location to good. However it’s not a resort, it’s a 3 star motel style facility that is very affordable and very clean. Negative was the wifi and phone reception with both Optus and Vodafone was terrible or non existent. A coverage issue not the hotels but their wifi isn’t sufficient to watch Netflix. I could honestly say if your a young family, group of friends who want to walk to a day at the beach and be in a quieter location than eye or Sorrento you’ll like it. If your an older couple who loves fine dining, wineries and luxury book elsewhere.

The hotel is one of Australia's top 100 golf courses. It's very new. The rooms are big and the beds are very comfortable. The stadium has a supporting restaurant. Friends who go to Geelong can stay there.
