Hotel St Moritz Queenstown - MGallery Collection

The hotel's overall environment and service are good, but the location isn't ideal. It's a bit of a walk from the lively street areas, about 15 minutes each way, and there are steep uphills and downhills. It's not very suitable for families with children or elderly guests. It would be much better if the hotel provided some shuttle service. Otherwise, people might consider other nearby hotels for a better overall experience, like the Crowne Plaza, which is similarly priced.

The hotel is right by Lake Wakatipu, so the location is excellent. We booked a suite with a lake view, and the room was very new and comfortable. However, the parking fee was a bit expensive at $40 a day.

The hotel is located on a hill, and the lake-view rooms offer a nice view of the lake. It's very close to the town center and within walking distance. Transportation is quite convenient. The front desk service was good, and the room was also spacious. Overall, it's a good place to stay.

Avoid the ALPINE Suites!!! I booked it because the name sounded fancy and it was spacious. And yes, it was indeed spacious inside, but the suite faced a坡 (slope/hill) directly opposite the entrance, with absolutely no view. All the other rooms were lake-view, facing Queenstown's prime scenery, but this one was just across from them, looking out at a crummy road! Also, when we arrived at 11 PM, there was only one white male at the front desk. He saw us struggling with four large suitcases down the steps but didn't even offer to help. Very poor service!

The hotel is great; aside from being a bit tiring to get to since it's on a hill, everything else was fine.
