Wyndham Garden Remarkables Park Queenstown

The hotel's environment is truly excellent, with snow-capped mountains right behind it. It's also incredibly close to the airport, just a few hundred meters in a straight line. There's a supermarket and a street with plenty of restaurants nearby, making dinner super convenient in the evenings.

We stayed for six consecutive nights, and the hotel's surroundings were quite convenient. It was only about a 10-minute walk from the airport, and there were many restaurants next door, plus a supermarket for daily needs. The coffee shop downstairs at the hotel also had good offerings. However, the bad experience during this stay was the poor bedding. It had stains and a missing piece, which we only discovered after sleeping on it for two nights. The hotel couldn't find a new duvet that night, so we had to use a sheet instead. The dryer sounded like a bomber plane; honestly, this Wyndham is the most disappointing one I've ever stayed at. 😅

The location and cleanliness are impeccable. It's truly a great place to stay, but… there's one major downside that completely negates all its advantages. I'm so angry I'm writing this furious review right now. The washing machine and dryer noise at night is no joke. Even with the door closed, there's a constant rattling sound that's just… unbearable. I don't know if it's coming from upstairs or next door, but the buzzing noise even in the early hours was so irritating that I couldn't sleep. There are thoughtless people who run their washing machines and dryers in the morning and early hours, making the cons outweigh all the pros. I don't know why they designed the building this way… they should have just made it a shared coin-operated laundry.

The place is quite good, right next to the airport, and it's its own little community. The room we booked had excellent facilities, the only downside was that the windows couldn't be opened. Although there was a kitchen, many things in it were dirty. Other than that, the overall experience was decent. However, on the first day, our sheets were dirty. Both the top sheet and the one underneath had many oil-like stains. We even found unwashed bloodstains. Since we discovered it late, there was no way to get them changed that day. We reported it to the front desk on the second day. The front desk agreed to change them for us and apologized. But that was all – just an apology. On the third day, there was no cleaning service, which is standard for most hotels. Therefore, I gave the service one star because there was absolutely no service at all.

The executive suite is well-equipped with excellent amenities and is close to the airport.
