Copthorne Hotel And Resort Queenstown Lakefront

The hotel staff were incredibly warm and provided excellent service. We arrived early, around noon, and they kindly allowed us to check in ahead of schedule. Seeing that we were elderly and didn't speak the local language, they thoughtfully printed out a hotel guide in Chinese and had a staff member escort us to our room (as the hotel is quite large). This made our check-in process so easy and we felt truly cared for. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, clean, and tidy. The location is also excellent, right by the lake, and transportation is convenient. We just took bus No. 1 from the airport, got off, and it was only about a hundred meters walk. The breakfast was good, and the restaurant had a particularly beautiful ambiance!

The room was great, within walking distance to the town center, and the lakefront was very peaceful. The front desk staff were also very welcoming ❤️

The environment is beautiful, with a great view of the lake. The service is good, and the hygiene is excellent. The only downside is the internet connection. Everything else was perfect. I stayed for 5 days and was quite satisfied. I would recommend it to friends and family!

The room was clean and tidy, and the hotel's lakeside location was beautiful. The front desk staff was very patient and even offered Chinese language service. It's conveniently close to the city center, but be prepared for a steep climb – it'll test your stamina!

The room had a very large bed, but it was quite soft, so if you're not used to it, it might be uncomfortable. The lake view room was beautiful, and we were lucky enough to see a rainbow. There's a path right next to the hotel that leads directly to the lakeside, which is absolutely stunning. The hotel is also conveniently located for walking to the town center; there's a slope, but it's manageable.

You can easily reach the hotel from the airport by taking the #1 bus. It's about a 15-20 minute ride. Get off at the Blue Peak stop, walk back, and cross the road. It's also not far from the town center, just a 10-15 minute walk. The next bus stop after Blue Peak is the main town center station and the Intercity bus stop. However, be aware that walking to the town center involves going down a really steep hill, so walking from the town center back to the hotel means walking uphill. This is something to keep in mind if you're arriving in Queenstown by Intercity bus rather than by plane. Also, note that there are two hotels called 'Copthorne', likely related, but they are not adjacent. This one is closer to the town center and closer to the lake. The hotel is quite large, and surprisingly, you take an elevator down from the front desk to reach the rooms. I booked a lake view room, and the view was genuinely good. During the off-season, it wasn't expensive, only about 100-200 RMB more than a standard room, offering excellent value for money! The room was also quite spacious, really great!

Not far from the town center, just a few minutes' walk. Plus, there's daily cleaning service, which is a nice touch. While the decor is a bit old and there's no showerhead, the overall cleanliness is good. And the room opens directly onto the lake, with access to a garden.

This was my first time visiting Queenstown, and I chose to stay at this hotel. The lake-view room had an excellent location, with a stunning view of the lake right outside the window. It's very close to Queenstown, making it convenient to walk along the lake or use the trails, and the scenery is beautiful! The only downside is that the hotel facilities are a bit dated due to their age.
