Walking distance to the town center. Good service. Car can be parked right outside the room. The kitchen comes in handy in making home made cuisine.

Melbourne Lodge offered varied accommodation. I was booked in a double room with shared bathroom. The facilities were clean and modern. A guest lounge with kitchen facilities and an outdoor deck area with views across the lake and Queenstown.

Great location just about 4min drive to town center. Very clean room and nice bed. But a bit short of car park. Totally very happy with my stay,

No hot water there is cockroach

Hotel is a bit aged, but the location is great and the common room has stunning view of the lake - perfect for self procured sun downers.

Amazing stay at Melbourne lodge in Queenstown. The location is superb and the walk to the main downtown area is only 10mins though you will be walking uphill otw back. The room was spacious and well maintained, though take note that you will have to climb some stairs to access certain rooms but it was really a wonderful stay and we highly recommend it :)

Enjoyed my night there- the room was as advertised. Need to walk up the hill which can be challenging if you have big luggage and don’t have a car.

Excellent location. Can walk easily down the city centre in 6-8 mins but need to walk back upwards. We used Uber a dew times (costs 10-12 NZD), tried taxi once and got charged $25! Even its quite convenient to order food via Uber eats as within 5-10 mins most restaurants are located. Overall a its a budget friendly accommodation :)
