Adventure Q2 Hostel

Excellent location and PIN code lock safety mechanism on major entries are helpful. Right next to Intercity coach pickup station which I rely for the whole journey in NZ. There are elevator thus no worry on carrying my heavy huge luggage and hand carried. I stayed in 6 dormitories ensuite. Rooms are bigger and there are a huge storage for each resident. Extra lockers and storage can be found outside the bunk should you need more space. Towel is provided as well. Very quiet at night thus can sleep well. Kitchen is huge and I still find space to put my groceries inside the fridge and cubicle outside. Will be back to stay for a couple of nights when I am back to Queenstown.

Location was honestly excellent and unbeatable, it’s right next to a bus stop where coaches pick you up for the Milford sound day tour. It’s also a short walk to the steamer wharf area, ＜5 mins. The girls at the reception were friendly. We had no issues with only being able to access the room after 2pm. The room itself was cosy. This seems to be one of the only rooms with a king bed and private toilet - it’s called Lucy’s room. However, it was really dusty - see the dust we cleaned off the window ledge. I am allergic to dust, so I had to wipe it down myself.. There is a pub nearby so music can be heard all the way till 3/4am on Saturday night, so not recommended if you are a light sleeper. We had a quieter night on Sunday though! If I could do it again, I would have topped up the $50-$60 to book Crowne Plaza, which was also in an equally prime spot.

Ideal location, just few steps from the city centre bus station.

Clear environment with friendly staff. Staff are very nice and friendly to introduce the facilities to guests. It locates in the central of Queenstown, very convenient location. If you travel New Zealand via the intercity bus, it just locates next to the bus stop. Definitely recommended for solo travellers. It has a living room which is a nice place for guests. The setting of this hostel is better than the one in Wanaka.
