Miquel was incredibly kind, patient, and truly passionate about what he does. He made me feel comfortable and confident, even as a beginner. I couldn’t stand up at the beginning, but he helped and encouraged me until I finally managed to do it and it felt amazing! It was a whole experience filled with fun, laughter, and great energy. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Costa Rica, whether you’re a beginner or more experienced, you’ll absolutely love it!

We loved Miguels Surf Camp. It was the best time we had all trip and we just happened to stumble upon it. Miguel was communicative, helpful, fun to be around, and had a great energy! He taught us surfing for the day with lessons that will stay with us forever! A little off the beaten path but totally worth it as it felt like the most authentic part of our trip. Miguel also helped us to the ferry at night which was a totally memorable experience. Miguel was awesome!!

Miguel’s surf camp is so much more than a surf camp. We had the best experience of our Costa Rica trip looking for peace, nature and connection! Found with Miguel, Pilar and Matías and their dogs. We also went with Miguel and Matías on a Mangrove tour and as a real professional guide Miguel told us about the birds, the different types of mangroves, their function and a few big crocodiles on our path. What a beautiful experience that was! Definitely do it when you are near Quepos! And Miguel is a very pleasant host and guide!
