This is the WORST stay at a hotel I have experienced in decades. The facility is very tired & worn. We had to change rooms twice in 4 days!!! There is zero consistency between rooms: some have a small refrigerator, others don’t, some have windows to the outside, others over the courtyard where there is cooking and staff noise. We changed rooms due to atrocious odour once, second time the heating did not work. The staff were good, but working uphill against a very poorly maintained facility. We had booked a “king” but ended up with a weird room with 2 smaller beds - not what we wanted at all. I always book VRBO or Airbnb: this is EXACTLY why. I will NEVER be in this hotel again. I feel far overcharged as I did NOT receive what I ordered. If I could give zero stars, I would.

I had a great stay at this hotel. It greatly surpassed my expectation. First of all I was very fortunate to received a free upgrade to a junior suite, room 104. I think this is one of a kind room opens up to the small pool and a small nice patio. I think this is the only room with this location. Ask to see if you can get it. This petite hotel it's in the best possible location at a great price. The restaurant, Las nacion, it's right in the heart The main plaza in the city. You cannot get a better location than this. The staff was very friendly, my coworker had a regular room on the second floor. He told me that it was very nice too. But my room is spectacular and I will include some photos of it. Everything is within easy walking distance. You will have a little bit of a challenge finding parking in the central district. I don't know about the other rooms, but from my experience getting an upgrade to the junior suite, room 104, this is a must stay. I want to reemphasize. The location of the hotel is unbeatable.

Stayed 4 nights. Wonderfully & conveniently located on the main plaza (Plaza De Armas). Appear to have a relationship with the bar and restaurant outside its entrance. The staff was a bit thin, but very helpful. We had an issue with our shower 2 mornings of our stay -- hot water, and plugged showerhead. The staff (both hotel & its associated restaurant) was very apologetic and arranged complimentary breakfast each time. It seemed to me that the place was still gearing up post COVID. The room and bathroom were very nice, bed comfortable. There seemed to be only 1 maid on staff. She worked diligently and was very proactive getting staff involved when we encountered our shower issues. Despite a few issues, we thoroughly enjoyed the hotel, associated restaurant, staff attitude, and location. Next time we are in Q, we will stay here again. Props to waiter Omar, his bartender brother Noe, the maid, and the handyman Orlando.

The hotel is well located, but in the room you could hear all the noise from the street, at 7 a.m. the restaurants across the street would play loud music, making it impossible to relax. The bed linens looked dirty and hadn't been changed, and the towels were stained and tattered, looking more like porn rags on the floor. The shower didn't produce much water, and it was horrible.

Tasty food. We all liked it. Excellent service. From arrival to departure. As an appetizer I ordered a carajillo and it really is the best I have ever had. We celebrated a friend's sixty-ninth birthday. He asked for a tequila and it was generously served.

The entire staff is 5-star in terms of customer service. Helpful, friendly, and attentive. The cafeteria and restaurant offer first-class food and drinks, as well as excellent service. The pool is pleasant, clean, and has a suitable temperature. We really enjoyed the architectural structure, authentic to the Independence era, as well as its location in the heart of the tourist and folklore district of Querétaro City. "They should make it a Magical Town," even though it's only in the downtown area. Surrounded by restaurants and plazas filled with artists, musicians, singers, clowns, and street vendors.

Me encantó el servicio, la atención y el hotel en general. La habitación muy limpia y cómoda. Ubicación inmejorable El único tema a comentar es que en el restaurante pedí un jugo de naranja que no me gustó. Sabía raro
