Sequoia Hotel, Quezon City

No air-conditioning on the floors - crazy in such a hot city In my room, the TV did not work and air-conditioning was noisy New room at least had a TV and quiet air-conditioning. I put some drinks in the fridge. In the morning all the drinks were warm. Housekeeping had never plugged in the fridge! A lack of power outlet's and the one hooked up to the fridge and laptop looked like I might get electrocuted as it went into the wall when you plugged in. Bed is hard with a clear uncomfortable Ridge down the middle that makes up the king bed. Pros: Internet was fast and stable You can see why the much superior B Hotel is booked out, although it is more expensive. This hotel is in desperate need for a facelift.

Moved from Red Planet since they were not accomodating. First time to try this hotel and it didn't disappoint. Complete toiletries unlike others. Large room and excellent location.

Just enough and fair for a standard hotel. We book for New Year's eve for us to watch the countdown firecracker but what a spoiler, we were given a room at the second floor in which the view in the window is a cluttered yard of a local house. On the morning of Jan 1, breakfast served at 7.30am and hotel guests were packed in a small dining place inside coffee shop.

The staff is the best thing in this hotel, especially the night shifts. If I remember it right their names were Leann & Kat (front receptionists), the housekeeping, the boys in green on the front lobby andeven the security guard who asssisted us in the parking were great! True Filipino hospitality. The first night was horrible the bed was hard and makes a loud noise every time u move. I saw in other reviews that was the main complained on that hotel. I made a complained on the front desks next day (morning) & the receptionist just smiled & shrugged it off. When I came back in the night I was ready to leave & moved to another hotel but the receptionists (Leann & Kat) made me try & choose different rooms which was better, bed are still hard but the sheets made it softer & the room was a little updated. They were so nice since my family lives nearby they advise me to stay since the staff were all nice. I booked through Trip.com, processing was fast. There are other hotels nearby, mgt should update their rooms to compete, there’s only 1 socket in the room & they provide 1 extension, beds are very uncomfortable, bathroom sinks doesn’t drain, water is on the hallway, water jug in the rooms have molds, Hallways on all floors have no AC, TV just have “Cignal” channel no access for Netflix or youtube. Aside from the restaurant downstairs & the friendly staff, there’s nothing special in this hotel.

very nice hotel and staffs are very professional and friendly. i will come back again

no basement elevator we need to take stairs with our things and reception was not friendly
