It is tidy, and security is thorough as you have to use a triple key card. Since it is near La Carolina Park, the surrounding area is safe, and it seemed like a recently built building; the entire place, including the restrooms, was clean, making it a really pleasant stay. Simple cooking utensils are also provided, so you can buy ingredients from outside and cook your own meals.

Excellent apartments within a ten-minute walk of Carolina Park and shopping centers. The apartment is fully equipped. The owner is always available and ready to help with any questions.

GREAT HOST, VERY HELPFUL AND UNDERTANDING. GOOD LOCATION HOWEVER THE APARTMENT NEEDS A BIT OF TLC AND ATTENTION TO DETAIL. BREAKFAST WAS INCLUDED HOWEVER EVERY DAY WAS EXACT SAME THING. PARKING WAS AVAILABLE FOR AN ADDITIONAL FEE WHICH WAS VERY APPRECIATED AND CONVENIENT. THIS APARTMENT IS LOCATED IN A COMMERCIAL BUILDING WITH NO 24/7 LOBBY OR CLEANING SERVICE, IN CASE YOU THINK IT IS A HOTEL-LIKE SETTING - IT IS NOT. OVERALL, I THINK IT IS A GREAT OPTION TO EXPLORE QUITO AND THE AREA.

Edificio Tofino Room was super spacious. Gonzalo cooks great food and is super helpful! My stay was a little chaotic but everyone there made sure I was safe and taken care of at all times.

Spacious, comfortable apartment Great, spacious apartment! The location can’t be beat - in a very safe area with tons of shopping and a few blocks from the metro. The entrance is through a cafe which is very odd but convenient for breakfast and coffee! Checking in after the cafe is closed is somewhat confusing but they waited for my arrival and helped me into the apartment. My only criticism is that all of the lights were harsh white LED bulbs and after dark the space would have really benefited from a softer, warmer light (and/or lamps)
