Stone Forest International Hotel

We were on a summer road trip with our kids, traveling from Guangdong into Guangxi for a few days, then on to Guizhou before heading to Kunming. We stopped for a night in Qujing along the way, and this hotel's ambiance was simply fantastic. It truly lives up to its reputation as the most luxurious hotel in Qujing... The breakfast spread was generous, the rooms were spacious enough, and the park next door also offered beautiful scenery.

I was torn between Guanfang and Shilin initially, but I'm so glad I chose Shilin in the end! 1. The service was exceptional! Manager Wu (a gentleman) at the front desk was incredibly attentive, making us feel completely at ease while traveling. Ms. Xun Dongmei, from room service, always had a warm smile and went above and beyond to fulfill our requests. All the staff at Shilin were wonderful, making our stay feel incredibly welcoming. 2. The breakfast was outstanding! It surpassed the two other five-star hotels we'd stayed in previously. They offered delicious local specialties like 'posubao' (flaky steamed buns) and 'zheners' (steamed rice noodles), and the variety changed daily. 3. The location is perfect, right at the foot of Liaokuo Mountain Park, making it incredibly convenient for hikes. The hotel is surrounded by lush greenery, and the area is quiet with fresh air. Taxis are also readily available. 4. We loved that the TV offered free access to online TV shows and movies! This is a huge plus, as many hotels only provide live TV channels. 5. I had the best Cross-Bridge Noodles of my life at Shilin Hotel. I've had countless bowls over the years, but none have ever compared to these. Remember to make a reservation in advance, as the pot needs to bake in the oven for 40 minutes.

I really love this hotel; it's my go-to whenever I'm in Qujing. Each time I visit, the floral theme is different, and the room hygiene and food quality are consistently excellent. This time, they even extended my check-out until 3 PM free of charge, which was incredibly thoughtful. Definitely my top choice for hotels in Qujing.

The overall quality is excellent, with refined and tasteful details. The room is clean and comfortable, and the bedding is high-quality. I especially want to commend the memory foam pillow; it truly helped me get a great night's sleep. The hotel breakfast features fresh ingredients, and the rice noodles are authentic and delicious. The coffee is also very good! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling for business or leisure in Qujing; it will definitely be a value-for-money experience! The hotel boasts an excellent location right next to a park. The facilities are comprehensive; although not brand new, it's still the best and largest hotel in Qujing. The room was clean and tidy, with daily housekeeping. The staff were warm and polite! Every evening, there were also various supper options like millet porridge and tremella soup. The bathroom had all the necessary toiletries, even small packets of laundry detergent, which is super practical for travelers. The only downside was the unreliable Wi-Fi, which could use some improvement. The hotel also has fast-charging stations for EVs! The parking lot is huge, so there's always a space available, even if you return late. Highly recommended!

From check-in to check-out, the entire experience was fantastic. The bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent. The cleanliness was impeccable, with even the corners spotless. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options. The check-out process was efficient, professional, and thoughtful. Just a small suggestion: it would be great if the tea in the room wasn't chargeable, as the little fee sign wasn't very noticeable.
