We stayed off-season, and the hotel was half-empty. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Both the indoor and outdoor pools were open, and the water temperature was very comfortable. The room was spacious, but the light switches for the bathroom were inconveniently placed, and water leaked out of the shower. Otherwise, everything was great, and the nearby mountains are stunning.

I had an absolutely unforgettable stay at Pik Palace Shahdag — truly one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had! This is a luxury hotel in every sense. The rooms were spacious, beautifully designed, and spotlessly clean — easily among the finest I’ve stayed in. Waking up to breathtaking mountain views was simply magical. To my surprise, the mountains were completely covered in snow even in mid-April, which made the entire experience feel like a dream. The breakfast was amazing with a great variety, and every single amenity was top-notch. Everything about the hotel — from comfort to service — was a perfect 10/10. The surroundings are incredibly scenic, offering peaceful, picture-perfect views all around. It was honestly the best stay of my entire Azerbaijan trip. I would highly recommend Pik Palace Shahdag to anyone visiting Azerbaijan — it’s not just a stay, it’s an experience. A must-stay hotel, without any doubt! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The hotel has a beautiful view. I didn't enjoy the food much, but it was diverse. The restaurant in the evening was good. The spa is nice, and the pool has a mountain view. The room is lovely. At first, there was a small child next door who was very loud, so we asked to be moved. They relocated us. We left a day earlier than our paid booking, and they didn't refund us. Unfortunately. The mountains had melted significantly, so there was no point in staying. It was raining.

Pros: The hotel is located right within the ski resort. Out of the three hotels here – one four-star and two five-star – I honestly think ours is the most beautiful and photogenic. We even checked out the public facilities of the other hotels in our free time, and this hotel's pool is definitely the most Instagram-worthy. More importantly, the rooms are excellent! Downstairs, there's a cinema, a cafe, an Italian restaurant, a fast-food joint, an e-sports center, a ski shop, an ice rink, and a Christmas market. They even have my favorite chimney cake! The scenery is absolutely stunning. I really hope to come back in the summer if I get the chance; it’s especially great for kids. The front desk staff are incredibly welcoming and have a wonderful service attitude. Whether it's the cleaning staff, front desk, or restaurant, communication in Russian is very smooth. Cons: There aren't any decent supermarkets nearby, so make sure to stock up on essentials before you arrive. We stayed for three days and two nights, and the hotel prices are a bit higher compared to Baku. Also, the bathroom tends to flood easily.
