I arrived to Rabat to begin my solo trip across Morocco. The hotel was in a good clean location close to the train station. However the room was small and with a view of a staircase. There was no wardrobe and the shower room was very basic with minimal amenities. The buffet breakfast was limited. Overall 3/5 and that’s for convenient location.

The location is perfect for exploring the town on foot, near the peaceful Nouzhat Hassan Park. The atmosphere was welcoming and quiet. The rooms were well-equipped and well-cleaned. I recommend this hotel for holidays or for business stays.

What was good: the breakfast, some of the staff eg. the breakfast ladies, Said (one of the desk staff), the location is great and the man who is on night duty (the friendly and helpful one - unfortunately did not get his name). Otherwise this was a series of unfortunate events. It all started when I checked in late a night (I had emailed to say my flight was landing late) and even though I had paid for (extra) a city view room, they tried to pawn off a room on the first floor with a view of a landing and wall with a huge walk in window that would not lock on me! I refused this room and was given one that I was told was the only one left. It was not great but at least it was higher up and the window locked - ironically, they tried to pawn this unsafe 1st floor room on to a friend who checked in the next day! The rooms were not cleaned daily so you had to scrounge for clean towels. My big beef was with my room door lock which did not work well so every day there was a daily struggle to open and lock the door (the key was clearly bent) but all I got was a shrug when I said anything. There are not amenities: I asked for days for a hairdryer and they said they had 2 but they did not know where but they would find one - this charade went on for days until I left. I booked a taxi to take me to a very early morning flight - I booked this days in advance and confirmed several times but on the morning of, there was no taxi and they didn't seem to care! Beds are hard.

Friendly and excellent service The hotel had the most wonderful staff. Everyone was super helpful. The security guard was always welcoming asking how your day or evening had been. Breakfast offered a great selection, the women serving you were friendly and helpful. The only thing is the rooms did not have some of the amenities you would expect from a hotel. For a short stay it is manageable, but not for almost a week when travelling from Australia. I was given the incorrect room for the first three days. This might be because my French is terrible though.

Comfortable hotel with air conditioning, wifi and plenty of hot water. Walking distance to the Medina, the beach, the park and the mausoleum. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and a small grocery shop a couple of minutes away. The railway station is easy walking distance. Breakfast was a mix of local and western choices and if the hotel is busy, the food goes very quickly so get there early. I would have loved some fruit each morning. The mosque is diagonally opposite and is really loud! I couldn’t close or lock the sliding door onto the balcony. The mechanism seemed to be missing. Very helpful staff.

The rooms were dirty, dishes insufficiently clean. Hotel location in the Ville Nouvelle was very convenient. The bathroom had a rain shower but pipes were rusty and was generally unclean. The room had a balcony but it was dirty and devoid of furniture. Interior decor was schizophrenic. Would not return.

Nice no frills hotel. Very clean and well located. Good breakfast and you can request espresso drinks if you don't want mint tea.
