Beautiful position near the old town and a beautiful building. However, the room we were placed in was well below the standard expected. The shower hose did not work, the shower drain was blocked, and the little air conditioner did not cope with the 29 degrees inside the room. When asked if anything could be fixed, no was the answer. The rooms are very small so don't travel here with two many bags!

We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights. We were treated like royals, especially by Stefano and Salvino. Hotel is extremely clean. Located within the garden. Very quiet. There is a bus stop near the garden which enables you to travel around and going to the centre of Ragusa. The main square of Ibla is within walking distance. Both lunch and supper at the hotel were just excellent. Thank you for taking so much care of us.

Beautiful place, friendly staff, comfortable bed and pillow. Since the building is stony, the accoustics are very loud, so don't go here if you want to spent time in your room and want some silence; you hear all the staff (rattling cleaning vehicle ), guests arriving/leaving untill night, and noises from the cooking classes. No tea/coffee in the room.

The position of the convent is outstanding surrounded by gardens, views over the hills and close to places of interest in Ragusa. The rooms (cells) are clean and comfortable. They run cooking classes by an excellent chef so we expected an above average breakfast. Unfortunately this was not the case. Don’t despair there are lovely cafes not far from the hotel.

Hotel is enchanting, rooms are comfortable and very clean! Most comfortable bed & pillow. Very helpful & friendly service all round. Special mention for Salvo Cucuzza the Assistant Director. The food at the Hotel restaurant Cenobio was superb.

My wife and I spent one night in Ragusa, and stayed in this convent in Ragusa Ibla, the lower town. Pretty place, clean room, and the convent is reachable through a large public park near the center of the old town, steps away from restaurants and shops.

The hotel grounds are lovely as is the building itself. However, my room was very small with sparse furnishings. The bed was a wooden box frame with an uncomfortable mattress on top that had a single hard pillow. The on-premises restaurant is open for breakfast. In addition, there is no bar available. It’s a short walk to the town for meals and drinks. The internet works in the lobby but not in the rooms. The hotel has a story because it was a convent at one time. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Located in the heart of Ragusa Ibla, with entrance inside the enchanting Iblean gardens, this hotel has managed to maintain the ancient memories of the previous Capuchin convent and also the same atmosphere of calm and relaxation. The minimal rooms, but with all comforts, are comfortable and fresh, with a splendid view of the valley. A special mention to the hotel restaurant where haute cuisine dishes are cooked respecting the best local ingredients. Highly recommended!

PESSIMA esperienza, l'hotel non rispecchia affatto le 4 stelle che vanta, arredamento e ristrutturazione in economia compreso materasso, e poi non parliamo del mio accaduto personale: una notte rientro intorno alle 03:00, trovo il cancello e portone chiusi, fin qui, nulla di strano visto l'orario, ma nessuno risponde al citofono per non so quanto tempo, allora dopo 10 minuti, penso che forse non funziona il citofono esterno al cancello, decido di scavalcarlo per avvicinarmi al portone e cercare di sentire se il campanello, a pulsante premuto, lo sento ma nessuno ancora apre, passano ancora svariati minuti, non so che fare, fa freddo e non so dove andare a dormire, allora mi viene in mente di provare a telefonare, con poca fiducia, visto che non sentivano il citofono, figurati se sentiranno il telefono...invece mi risponde una voce assonnata, dicendo: "scendo subito ad aprire", ...SCENDO? Cioè alla reception (piano terra) dove suonava il campanello del citofono non c'era nessuno? Sarei potuto stare tutta la notte a suonare il campanello ma non avrebbe potuto sentirlo mai nessuno perchè il portiere notturno era a dormire al piano superiore (ricordo che dovrebbe essere un 4 stelle). Al mattino il ragazzo alla reception mi dice che il campanello ha avuto un guasto e non funziona bene, da dietro la porta lo sentivo il campanello e funzionava benissimo, e mi viene detto che, come poi ho fatto dovevo telefonare per farmi aprire, e questo è il servizio di un hotel 4 stelle? cioè un turista sta via per un giorno intero, rientra quando hanno chiuso i portoni e deve sperare che abbia il telefono con ancora batteria sufficiente per poter fare la telefonata al portiere per poter entrare...??? Al check out chiedo il conto e scopro che non hanno nemmeno preso in considerazione di fare uno sconto per il disagio, causato da loro. NON HO ALTRE PAROLE

Grandiosa esperienza in una location fantastica. Cena rilassante in un antico commento dei cappuccini nella magica Ragusa Ibla. Piatti innovativi cucinati con cura. Io e mia moglie abbiamo scelto due diversi menù degustazione uno di carne l'altro di pesce. Per entrambi è stata una buona esperienza gastronomica. Anche questo ristorante ha gestito l'intolleranza al lattosio di mia moglie con grande professionalità e cura. Il personale di Sala impeccabile. Sicuramente da consigliare.

Davvero un'esperienza consigliata! Nonostante le dimensioni ridotte, le camere sono molto confortevoli (sono infatti ricavate dalle vecchie celle dei frati, di cui si possono ancora vedere gli archi e le iscrizioni sugli stipiti). Il personale é molto cortese e disponibile, è tiene molto a valorizzare l'autenticità della struttura. Abbiamo anche provato il loro ristorante, che offre una cucina raffinata e legata al territorio. Unica pecca, la manager del ristorante, non sufficiente preparata per il ruolo (in particolare sui vini).

Une savoureuse expérience dans un cadre historique préservé. Magnifique rencontre avec un chef qui partage sa vision de la cuisine et de savoureuses recettes à quatre mains. Allez y !

Hotel dentro il Giardino Ibleo curato e pulito, ottima posizione a pochi passi dal centro e a mezz'ora di macchina si raggiunge Marina di Ragusa, parcheggio su strada nelle vicinanze dell'hotel.Colazione variegata, personale accogliente e professionale.

Posticcino scoperto per caso visitando i giardini Iblei. Il ristorante è immerso in un atmosfera di pace come si addice ad un convento anche se ormai ex convento. Il personale merita una menzione particolare per gentilezze e competenza. Cibo ottimo e servizio impeccabile e prezzo nella media. Se siete in visita a Ragusa Ibla merita arrivare ai giardini all’ora di pranzo.
