Antico Granaione

In the historic center of an enchanting place. The rooms are very welcoming and meticulously maintained; the rooms are comfortable, clean, and tastefully furnished. The breakfast is delicious, varied, and plentiful. Amedeo and Sidorela welcome guests with uncommon kindness and helpfulness. I personally feel at home every time I stay at Antico Granaione. We intended to test and then book a few more days but the main problem is the inconvenience. From the parking lot to the B&B it is a tiring climb of stairs that seem never ending: those of the building are a really tiring step. If you have luggage for one night it is also possible, reducing them to a minimum, but if you have to stay a long time there is no lift or someone to help. The interior is nice, carefully renovated but why put a TV in such a way that it can only be watched by turning on its side and only by one person?? A light is missing from the main door: we were left in the dark fumbling with the keys to get in and when the timer turned off the light we would have had to, IN THE DARK!, go back down the stairs to turn it on again; that is, there is no switch right next to the door or one of those lights that turn on when you pass. The lady who welcomed us, Yuma, is super kind and almost makes you forget the effort it took to lug your bags up: I say almost... because for someone who isn't in perfect physical shape this B&B is really difficult.

An enchanted atmosphere inside the medieval village, the Antico Granaione welcomes you inside a courtyard with a well surrounded by flower pots and rooms of different colors, we were given the Glicine room, Yudi who welcomed us makes you feel at home immediately, truly excellent breakfast! We left with the desire to return!

I stayed here for just one night, I found a very welcoming room and a good breakfast. I would like to highlight in particular the reception service: well-kept, attentive, pleasant, in the spirit of hospitality. For this I thank Mrs. Yudi and her splendid empathy.

Truly beautiful, unique and very well-kept structure. We arrived while a wedding was taking place right there in the residence but the legendary Yudi managed to simultaneously manage our room accommodation. We stayed only one night but it was really worth it, everything well organized for a truly pleasant stay. Thank you for everything!

Luogo silenzioso, discreto e ben servito nel cuore dell'antico paese di Serre di Rapolano. L'Antico Granaione è il posto ideale per dormire, se si desidera visitare l'area circostante o andare alle Terme di Rapolano, che si trovano ad appena 5 minuti di auto. Le camere sono pulite e ben arredate, l'atmosfera è piacevole e rilassata, il posto è silenzioso. La colazione è ottima, varia ed abbondante, perfetta per intraprendere una giornata alla scoperta delle Crete Senesi o paesi come San Gusmé, Castelnuovo Berardenga, Montironi D'Arbia, Asciano e Monteriggioni.
