Mercure Bengkulu ★★★★

"Our 4-night stay at the Mercure Bengkulu began with a rather unpleasant experience. As an Accor member—even though I didn’t book through Accor—I expected the same standard of service as at other 4-star Accor hotels in other cities. I really appreciate how they addressed and listened to our concerns and needs. Mr. Akbar, the duty manager, came to discuss the situation. He made a point to note that this complaint wasn’t about a room upgrade but rather about the guest’s basic needs—service satisfaction and comfort. He insisted on upgrading our room for our final night to help us have a positive experience at Mercure, and we could truly feel his sincerity—which is exactly what we needed as guests. We concluded our trip with satisfaction, knowing that we were heard and that Mercure responds quickly to continue improving."
