Floor was quite sandy on bare feet. Tracked into the bed. Also lusting saud hot tub at hotel, but that was not true.

The staff was great and very accommodating. The issue we had was the smell when we walked into the hotel. There was a damp, moldy smell in the lobby area. Even the rooms had the same smell but not as bad. That was very disturbing. The breakfast wasn't the greatest, it was very basic and just not impressive.

Clean property,great parking lot(i drive a larger tractor trailer rig) so there’s plenty,easily accessible spots.

LIKE: Property was very clean...
DISLIKE:
*Buffet Breakfast was poor...Did not look/taste appetizing. burned scrambled eggs, sausage; cold coffee, white bread...best thing on menu were the miniature waffles....2 days stay and went out for breakfast... Yes, I would stay again.. I like CLEAN hotels.
* Pool was closed (construction). Middle of summer..

It’s an amazing place. A little far from all the regular places where you’ve been (an hour from
South Padre Island) but works. The service is amazing, the breakfast and general, it’s okay.

I did not appreciate the receptionist that work at la Quinta in Raymondville Tx . He was so rude and when I got my room they had small cockroaches in the room 113 that I had booked through ******* Saturday, July 29 to Sunday, July 30. I travel with two other couples and he charged me ten dollars per person more.

Our experience was horrible and I would not recommend this property to anyone traveling and needing a place to stay the manager was rude not only was he rude he double charged my debit card and blew it off like it was nothing, didn’t allow an early check in nor would he allow me or my children to use the lobby restroom after traveling 10 hours to attend a state track meet. I do not recommend this hotel at all
