Lovely stay at the Crowne plaza, breakfast was quite busy and things weren’t re stocked which wasn’t great but still a lovely place to stay
Also access to the spa and pool etc which was great
Just make sure you watch the kiddie time as that can upset your relaxation time

Good, standard hotel but needs an update. Positives, good location (for Reading) and stunning Thames river parks on doorstep. Excellent gym. Breakfast good but limited and doesn’t cater for international or healthy options such as salads, greens etc. Rooms ok, but old feeling and some surfaces dusty on arrival, tv is old terrestrial, no streaming. Service, they seemed to not figure out I had paid for breakfast In advance and the problem recurred 5 days in a row until eventually I had to send my booking details to proof it, messy and either the fault of trip.com or IHG. Parking should be free for hotel guests.

Amazing hotel in the perfect spot, about 10 minutes walk to Reading. Breakfast fab and the bar for a drink in the evening was really fab, ie seating and comfort to relax.
