We stayed at the Reading SACO one-bedroom apartment for two nights. The apartment itself was very spacious, with a separate bedroom and an open-plan living room and kitchen, which made it comfortable for our stay.
There were, however, a couple of downsides. Noise from the upstairs guests walking across their room late at night was quite disruptive. On the first morning, the shower was not working properly – the water temperature fluctuated between too hot and too cold, and my wife struggled with it for over 35 minutes. She reported it to the property manager, who said the shower head could be changed once his colleague arrived at 10:00 am.
After this issue was resolved, the rest of our stay was good. We appreciated having a parking space, and the location was excellent – close to the city centre, the Reading Festival site, and Beale Wild Park, making it easy to travel around.
Overall, a spacious and convenient apartment, but with room for improvement in maintenance and noise insulation.
