B&B Hotel Reims Centre Gare

Our room was a corner unit and quite spacious. It was right in front of the train tracks! You could clearly see the faces of people on the train, it was that close (lol). It's a bit hard to tell due to the fence, but the blue line in front of the building across the way is the train's roof, and the silver is its body. You can even see people! And there were no sheer curtains (lol). The sound of the train was very clear, but unlike in Tokyo, there weren't many trains, and the first train was late while the last one was early, so the noise wasn't too bothersome. In a way, it was an interesting sight. Breakfast was decent, neither good nor bad. The croissant and cheese were delicious, as expected from France. The front desk had only one lady who seemed to be doing everything – restocking breakfast and washing dishes – she looked very busy. The room key was an electronic lock that required punching in a code to unlock. On the day of checkout, around 10:00 AM, a cleaning lady knocked on our door and asked, “What time is checkout?” I guess she wanted to clean early. Then, at checkout, I tried to call the lady who was washing dishes in the kitchen via the front desk bell, explaining that I wanted to check out. She replied, a bit annoyed, “There’s nothing you need to do!” The front desk lady's attitude made me question her customer service skills, but she looked so busy that I felt sorry for her. I've also stayed at a hotel from the same chain on the other side of the station, but this one was more affordable, a bit older, and the lobby was bare. I guess it’s fair for the price. The location is about a 5-minute walk, winding around to the back from the station. It's about a 7-8 minute walk to the entrance of the main street with restaurants and cafes, and about 15 minutes to the cathedral. I think the location is pretty good. The bathroom facilities were a bit old, but they were well-cleaned. The room itself was also clean. For those looking to save on travel expenses, I recommend this hotel as it's clean and affordable.

Good clean room! Very comfortable bed and pillow! The linen was spotless! The bathroom and toilet were clean! Great location, two minutes from the train station, and 20 minutes from the Cathedral!

The location is excellent, only about 200 meters from the train station. The city center is also within easy walking distance. The staff were very friendly and kind. However, the room is very small with no storage space. On the other hand, the price is quite affordable for France. Reims is definitely worth a visit.
