Fabulous spot right next to the cathedral so beautiful & definitely recommend a balcony room facing out to the cathedral. Loved this quirky hotel which was once a fire station very modern but with touches of old features towards its former use. The staff went above and beyond to make are break perfect (to booking a restaurant for us to valet parking and just being friendly and helpful)We sipped champagne at the front of the hotel restaurant outside with a back drop of the cathedral. Must just mention the delicious breakfast too.

Excellent extended weekend spent in this hotel facing the cathedral and therefore directly in the city center.
Staff at the top worthy of the big hotels. Perfectly clean and spacious room just like the king size bed.

We had the pleasure of staying in this gorgeous boutique hotel. Service was impeccable all around. We contacted the hotel prior to leaving to get information about champagne tastings and restaurants. They were very thorough. Every staff member was helpful and professional. The cathedral was 1 minute away. In fact we went each day just to look at the Chagall windows. The town is great for wandering with great architecture and restaurants We loved the hotel ;it added so much to our holiday. Highly recommend. You won’t regret it.

La Caserne de Chanzy is in a historic fire station right in the city centre vis à vis the cathedral. What we liked: - quiet room to the courtyard - small room, but nice and cosy interior design - central location What we disliked: - for my taste the bed was to firm and even the cushions uncomfortable Would we recommend a stay? - Yes, because of the central location and the nice, modern rooms

Perfect location, 10 mins walk form the central train station or easy parking if you book in advance. The view on the cathedral is stunning, it's worth booking rooms with that view. The rooms aren't big and lack cupboards for people staying more than one night ; also it's odd to have a double bed but only one chair in the room ; lastly the bathroom (at least ours) don't have enough cloth/towel hangers. But apart from that the room is well equipped and the bed is quite good. The Grande Georgette restaurant is really good, and the bar choices are excellent. The spa is lovely but successful so booking in advance is highly advisable. The hotel staff are very efficient, welcoming and polite. All in all an excellent stay in this original setting (the building was a fire service station before).

The location is divine - opposite the grand cathedral of Reims. My room overlooked the cathedral and sitting out on the terrace looking at the amazing Cathedral is a memory I will always cherish. Lovely staff, big, comfy rooms, valet parking (which is great in Reims!), and a relaxing spa. The hotel restaurant La Grande Georgette is fantastic. I don't usually 'do' hotel restaurants but for this one - you'll miss out if you don't experience the gastronomic food - quite simply superb and it was here that for the first time I tried ratafia, a Champagne liqueur - delicious and loved how it was served - from a giant bottle with a pippette - very theatrical and great fun (it won't be the last time!). I don't think you'll find a better hotel in Reims than this, and you'd be hard put to find a better restaurant.
