Hilton Garden Inn Reno

Nice hotel, but on the day of checkout we were 10 minutes late and the lady at the desk was extremely rude and immediately screamed: “ROOM NUMBER!” without even greeting us or saying goodbye when walking out. Felt very hostile and very unprofessional. Never experienced this before.

Adequate hotel with good quality facilities. It is a shame that they try to charge you for water $3 for a standard 10 oz bottle. At the room price they could afford to give breakfast and a couple of bottles of water. Breakfast is costly and not that great. Peg’s Eggs is nearby and the breakfasts there are both better and cheaper than the Hilton. There is even a McDonalds across the parking lot. The people are friendly and the rooms are standard with Easy chair, desk and chair, microwave, small serving coffee maker and small refrigerator. We had two very comfortable queen beds. The Air Conditioning system was a puzzle. It appeared to be partially controlled elsewhere. Sometimes it obeyed the thermostat and other times it ignored the thermostat. So sometimes it was to our setting and sometimes it was too cold. Keep a covering handy that is easily removable. In general this is an adequate moderate price good quality hotel with a few quirks.

I had a delightful stay at your wonderful hotel! The staff was especially helpful and friendly. Everyone had a "hello" for me and gave me lots of smiles. The hotel and my room were very clean. I would stay there again. Thank you!!
