"This hotel has different pros and cons and the cons seem to outweigh the pros in my opinion. The pros are that this hotel is located in a lush garden, which is great if you want to wake up everyday in such an environment. The staffs are friendly. The rooms are big and quite beautiful. However, there are several significant issues. First, there are a lot of mosquitos in and out of the room, and they look quite aggressive. It is no surprise because the staffs fully open all the window and doors during cleaning. The pool is beautiful but no one uses it because it is freezing cold. This has been repeatedly mentioned in other reviews. So you have the weird situation that everyone just sits around the pool feeding the mosquitos. The internet in the room was very poor. The room has hidden spots which are extremely dirty, such as the bathroom window area. The hotel is also a bit far from the center, so you need to use grab."

"The hotel is located next to the river in a quiet area near a famous temple. It is beautifully decorated in a northern-style design and is very well maintained. I had a good experience staying at the hotel. Overall, the service was excellent, and the facilities were good. The fitness center equipment is a bit old; however, it is still well maintained."

"Hotel is near the centre night market . Easy access to the town and lots of shops and restaurants .  The resort has a nice pool with surrounding buildings and a restaurant / breakfast room .  Breakfast was very nicely catered with European and asian food which was very nice .  My upgraded room was large but the superior room that I booked was small and no wardrobe .  Toilet / shower was nice and with hot water shower.  Overall I liked this hotel and will stay there again if I’m back to Chiang rai again 👍"

"I love coming here and this trip is the fourth or fifth time we have stayed here. Last time was for two weeks in 2019. I remember seeing the result being built in 1998 I think and it's aging quite well compared to other properties we have stayed at in Thailand. It's great value, great location and a relaxing atmosphere."

"Absolutely delightful! I'll definitely be back. 😍 The staff is so nice. The bed is huge, probably 2.5 x 2.5. The bed linen and towels are snow-white. Everything is clean. Free toast, eggs, coffee, tea, and bananas for breakfast, although I didn't use them. 2 bottles of water, like everywhere in Thailand, are provided every day. There's no fridge in the room, but there's a shared one in the kitchen. You're right in the center, yet on a quiet side street, so it's quiet and the birds are singing. The night market, shops, currency exchanges, and pharmacies are all within walking distance. There's a tour agency right across the street; I spent a full day with them, visiting all the sights, and it's a great program 👍 I highly recommend it! 🥰 Excellent value for money 👍"

"La Maison Blanche – A Tranquil Hidden Gem As you approach La Maison Blanche, the drive is off-road with potholes, ruts, and loose gravel on an incline, which can feel a little daunting at first. However, once you ascend the steps, you are rewarded with a truly magical and tranquil garden setting. The villas are surrounded by wildflowers, trees, and bushes, creating a peaceful and secluded atmosphere. There is a veranda where breakfast is served promptly each morning. Breakfast consisted of mango slices, rice, eggs, bacon, and sausages, along with toast served with real butter, mango juice, and hot coffee. The food was good and, at just 200 baht for two people, it was incredible value for money. Our villa sat further up the steep hill, with over 50 steps to reach the top of the property. Positioned above the garden canopy, our room had its own balcony with an outdoor bath. We were pleasantly surprised to have reliably hot water. Curtains were provided for privacy, although once in the bath, the surrounding bushes offered natural seclusion. The views were lovely and made for a very relaxing stay. The room itself was light, clean, and spacious, with high ceilings that gave it a grand feel. We stayed for two nights, and our host refreshed the room during our stay, which left it smelling wonderful. The host was genuinely the friendliest person we have met so far on our travels. We arrived at 10 am hoping to store our bags for the day, and he came down to greet us from our Grab, taking our bags straight away. He then helped us plan our day and even organized our Grab transport. Throughout our stay, he was attentive, welcoming, and spoke excellent English, offering helpful local tips. He recommended the Sunday Walking Street market, which we visited and thoroughly enjoyed. La Maison Blanche is beautiful, peaceful, and secluded, and offered us an excellent place to stay. It is outstanding value for money, and we would highly recommend staying here."

"A new hotel closed to Kok river and not too far from city. It's near blue temple. The hotel have bicycles for travel, you can ride with free. Good river view, it comfortable to stay. Very large bathroom with tub but a shower was not clean, quite dirty. You can select twin or deluxe one bedroom from application. The TV was diffucult to open , its depend on internet and signal was delayed. The electric kettle is dirty, shoule be clean completely before.I love breakfast, many menus and delicious."

"Very nice hotel, good location and closely to the blue temple. I can visit the beautiful BLUE temple everyday in the morning and evening. Good service and great room area. We are very enjoy on this hotel."

"The parking lot is large, similar to a motel, but very clean and quiet, a bit unexpected! I like it very much! It is very close to the night market and the bus station! The breakfast is sufficient, with bread and rice! There is a girl at the front desk who speaks Chinese. The overall cost performance is very high!"
