"Universal Cabana Bay Hotel, conveniently located. Very close to Universal theme parks and Volcano Bay water park. In the hotel, there are two particularly large swimming pools and a lazy lazy river. The hotel has a Starbucks coffee shop, a universal gift shop, and a dining area. The eating area can choose North American style, South American style, Italian style and Asian style fast food. "This hotel is very good, the rooms are large and clean, the scenery is picturesque, the Italian food in the hotel is very authentic, and the boat ride to Universal Studios is full of scenery. "The guy at the front desk was very nice. After confirming that it was our first stay, he explained in detail that we didn't need to return the card when checking out. The door card was a fast pass and we could keep it. He left our email address and we received an email the next morning and could check out online. We took the hotel's water bus to and from the park. We didn't have to pay for parking by scanning the room card in the parking lot. The overall cost performance was very high"

"It is very convenient to stay in the hotel. It is best to arrive at the hotel in the morning and stay one night to use the fast track for 2 days. It is very cost-effective. When you are tired, you can go back to the hotel to rest. Another great advantage is that there is free hot water supply in the canteen downstairs every day."

"We were a family of 5: 2 adults 3 teens booked for 2 nights. We got to the hotel late, 10:30 pm, the check in line was long so check in was around 11. We booked and received a suite, 3 queen bed, 1 bathroom, pool view. The room was cute and generally clean with the exception of some liquid splatters on the walls here and there. A key had been provided for each person in our group for the free hour entry into the parks however we learned that you also have to use the card key to turn on the lights in the room. There either wasn’t a fan in the bathroom or it wasn’t working and though there were plenty of towels there were only 4 washcloths (original booking was for 6 individuals). We parked our rental in the parking garage and though it wasn’t terrible, it is a bit of a walk to the elevators. If you don’t want to go off site for food the food there was okay (at least during dinner time, don’t know what they served for lunch/breakfast) and honestly reasonable priced with a range number of options. But there are plenty of options in the surrounding area. Any beverages and snacks of course are higher in price. The buses to the park were clean with ride being 5-10 minutes and we never really had to wait coming and going from the park. They cleaned the room when we went to the park however again didn’t provide enough washcloths. I called front desk about it however had to end up hunting down house keeping about an hour later to get one and even that was almost not successful. Overall the stay was okay and I guess you can expect to feel safe as I was told by my husband that a female security guard followed him to our room after he asked for directions. But again everything was good until we got home and realized our personal keys that we kept in the middle console of the rental and had both our home and car keys on had been stolen. Security did claim to check the room we had checked out of with of course no success and then afterwards it took some time for them to truly understand the situation, after being placed on hold a couple of times and then transferred to I’m assuming their supervisor who at first sounded irritated I was then told that there are no cameras in the parking garage. They did take down my contact information and description of the keys but also indicated that having “over 8,000 visitors” at the hotel a day that it may take some time to know if the keys are ever found. So in other words don’t leave ANYTHING important in your vehicle."

"There is a free shuttle bus, the location is very close to Universal Studios, the hotel is very new and modern, there is a Starbucks downstairs. You will be given a pre-entry card when you check in, which allows priority entry, but it can't open the hotel door, and the front desk didn't remind me, so I spent a lot of time and wasted time. The foreigners are okay in their attitude, but not very efficient."

"Had a slight problem with our room not being ready but the lady who checked us in made everything right and even gave us dinner. Place was very clean and well laid out. Would recommend. "
