"This is a tranquil island with only one hotel. The beach is divided into an exclusive area for hotel guests and a section for day-trippers, offering activities like mud baths and sea walking. Mud baths require booking at the hotel and are available at 9 AM, 10 AM, and 11 AM sharp; sea walking tickets can be purchased at a designated kiosk. After 4 PM, the crowds thin out, making the environment very pleasant. The island's only restaurant, ”Sea Breeze,” serves breakfast and dinner (until 10 PM) at reasonable prices, and UnionPay is accepted (though not personally verified). The restaurant's highlight is the beachfront dining experience. After meals, kids had a blast digging for crabs on the beach (look for small holes in the sand where crabs might be). Even though I only stayed for one night, I'd love to visit again."

Breakfast selection was decent. - The pool wasn't routinely cleaned of debris at the bottom; it was full of dead leaves. - Since all island facilities are operated by the Vin Group, Face ID can be used for shuttle boats, cable cars, and theme park entry/exit, which improved efficiency – a big plus. - As the most high-end luxury hotel on the island, it lacked entertainment options, with only a very small gym and no game room. - The paid spa was pretty good and worth trying. - The hotel staff had good English skills and would proactively chat with guests, creating a friendly atmosphere. - The beach had fine sand, and the water was suitable for swimming, better than resorts in Phu Quoc and Da Nang."

"Location: Perfectly situated between the airport and Nha Trang, this resort offers the ideal balance of convenience and seclusion for a relaxing getaway. Food: We loved the breakfast! There was an excellent variety of options that changed each day, keeping things interesting. We also dined at the on-site restaurant, which featured top-notch service and surprisingly reasonable prices. For example, the grilled chicken with rice and salad was about 150k VND, and desserts were around 100k VND. Gym: The gym is fantastic—well-equipped with modern machines and a beautiful view to motivate your workout. Premises: The resort grounds are absolutely beautiful and a joy to explore on foot. A nice bonus is the complimentary bicycles available for guests to cycle around the property. Swimming Pool: The pool is enormous and truly a highlight. It's very family-friendly, with a dedicated children's section that includes fun slides."

"Overall, my experience was just average. The hotel's environment is undeniably great – beaches, BBQ, and a pool are all standard. Guests can conveniently travel between the main road and the island by speedboat or cable car. However, the rooms are quite old, and the facilities are dated. Most importantly, the service feels like it's stuck in 1980s China. The 1977 yuan included accommodation and three meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). At dinner, I ordered a beer, which was about 20 yuan. I didn't have cash, and my Chinese credit card couldn't be processed. I offered to go back to my room to get cash or have it charged to my room. I even signed the bill with my room number. To my surprise, the waitstaff repeatedly badgered me for payment and even brought me to the hotel front desk to try my credit card again, which still didn't work. They insisted I go back to my room for cash. I lost my temper and loudly complained, which caught the attention of the restaurant manager. The manager was quite reasonable; he apologized profusely, waived the drink bill, and even saw us off with a smile. The next day, I had a flight from Nha Trang to Ho Chi Minh City at 8:40 AM, which required an early start to catch the speedboat to the mainland. Breakfast started at 6 AM, and the lobby also opened at 6 AM. I had arranged for two breakfast boxes the night before since I wouldn't have time to eat in the restaurant, as the shuttle bus was leaving at 6:15 AM. At 6 AM, I collected my breakfast boxes from the lobby and saw that the restaurant was open. I asked a server if I could have a cup of coffee. The server consulted a manager (not the same one from the previous night's restaurant) and was told that since breakfast had already been packed, I couldn't have coffee. I just had to smile wryly and give up. In conclusion, everything in Vietnam is developing and changing, much like China experienced similar transformations. The income of the working class is low, and while there's a unique Southeast Asian spirit of contentment with simplicity, the standard of international modern service still needs improvement."

"The hotel is located on Hon Tre Island, offering a quieter environment compared to the city. The resort facilities are comprehensive, with lush greenery and beautiful flowers artfully arranged. The pool, beach, and ocean fulfill all vacation needs. It doesn't feel old or moldy; quite the opposite, it feels rather new, making me wonder if it's been renovated. The breakfast selection is incredibly varied and delicious. All the staff are exceptionally friendly, making for a fantastic stay."

"The Empyrean hotel is aligned with the Arena resort hotel. It’s the same building and the same rooms, the same swimming, the same everything. Just like in my previous review of Arena hotel, I will mention a very good and clean condition of the hotel and surround, great beach and sea area as well as swimming pool. The biggest disadvantage is a very remote area with no access to the tours and trips and small shops. Need to do everything inside the hotel, it does have a lot of amenities, just that you need to pay for everything."

Breakfast was plentiful, but I wouldn't recommend the dinner or lunch buffets; while they had a lot of options, the quality wasn't great, and drinks cost extra. It was super convenient to buy VinWonders tickets at the hotel; you could use facial recognition to re-enter multiple times, which meant we could come back for lunch and a rest before heading back in the afternoon. The three huge swimming pools downstairs were fantastic, and the beach and sea were also great. Overall, it's more of a place to enjoy the facilities than to focus on the room itself."

"We stayed at this resort for a family trip during the National Day holiday. It's right by the beach with an ocean view, which was generally good, but the value for money isn't great. **Environment:** The hotel is quite a distance from Nha Trang city center, located at the mouth of the bay. The rooms are spacious and bright, with a fresh, natural rattan-style decor, and they all have balconies where you can enjoy the sea view and dry clothes. **Facilities:** The infinity pool is huge, and the hotel is right on the beach with its own private ocean frontage, though it's not a gentle sandy beach. Breakfast finishes too early; when we went at 10:18 AM, there was nothing left, which meant my child went hungry for their activities. **Cleanliness:** The hygiene was excellent. The rooms were spotless and bright, and the hotel staff even removed their shoes when helping us with our luggage into the room, which showed great attention to cleanliness. **Service:** We checked in quite late with our child, and the front desk staff meticulously explained the hotel facilities and check-in procedures. However, when I inquired about buying bus tickets to Mui Ne, the front desk refused to help (usually, hotels assist with this). Overall, the hotel offers great views and new rooms, but the service is average, breakfast ends too early, and the value for money is just okay."

"For a resort so close to the beach, it's quite well-maintained. Don't be too nitpicky about the wear and tear on the edges of the walls, and you'll be very happy, haha. All the staff are very nice. The pho at breakfast is delicious, and the noodle soup changes daily. The pool isn't huge, but it's sufficient, and the beach is clean, perfect for a little swim. This time I booked a garden villa, which offers more privacy than the beachfront pool villas, but the pool villas let you watch the sunrise from your bed. I'll definitely come back to experience that next time."
