Since I booked 4 nights, I have a good discount. It is a pretty interesting accommodation, something in between an Airbnb (self-check-in and healthy Skyr breakfast) and a hotel (clean and comfortable beds). The color of the renovation also fits well into Iceland. The washroom has a heated floor, which is nice in winter. They also have blackout curtains and I can see how it can be helpful in the summer when there is no darkness. There is also a bus stop right downstairs which is very convenient for us to get to downtown. You just need to download the public transport app (Straeto/Klappid), which allows you to buy bus tickets with your credit card and scan the QR code on the bus.

Taking flybus from Airport to the hotel is convenient. Despite no reception counter, you can call the staff for assistance easily at the front desk. Staff is helpful and response immediately. Room is clean and tidy. Though no individual Refrigerator inside the room, there is one located on each floor. You can label your drink or food and place inside. Do clear your own food from the refrigerator before Check-out. Yummy breakfast. Good environment with home feelings. There are 3 supermarkets nearby. Also, it is convenient for taking bus to downtown and landmarks. Good choice with fair price for travellers.

The breakfast is good and rich. The location is a little off, but there are supermarkets and home furnishing stores visited by locals nearby, so it is very convenient to buy things. The self-service check-in is good and convenient.

The buffet breakfast is good and included in the room rate! However, please pay attention to the email notification for self-check-in. There is usually an email notification two days before check-in, so you must leave the correct email address. If you do not receive the check-in code two days before check-in, you need to contact the hotel email directly.

We forgot our passport in the room and wrote an email to the staff. They replied quickly and said they would help save it. Thank you very much.

It's excellent. The three of us stayed in a triple room. It was clean and tidy. The hotel is relatively new! The only shortcoming is that Ctrip didn't do a good job. It was a self-service check-in. It didn't even send us an email about the gate password and other information. We only found out when we got to the hotel. After reading the reviews, we were not the only ones in this situation. , this has happened to others when booking before, Ctrip really needs to improve! In addition, the door is difficult to open! There is a public refrigerator outside. We only booked a layover for one night, so it was okay. What we liked about the tour was that we could come directly to the hotel to pick up. We didn’t find anything around because it was almost 8pm when we arrived at the local area and everything was closed.

The location is a bit out of the way, away from the tourist area, there are supermarkets and home goods stores that locals shop around. The waiters got off work after 10 pm, and Ctrip didn't send us the gate and room code in advance. We had to wait an hour for someone to open the door.

Perhaps because it was winter, it felt a bit cold even with the heating on, but other than that, I was very satisfied with this hotel. It was clean and breakfast was good. Parking was free and the location was good. I would like to come again next time in a season other than winter.

All the hotel staff were very nice. Good breakfast buffet.

Comfortable room and well lit (unlike some other hotels). But not a good idea to have the noisy table football machine adjacent to the dining area.

ODDSSON Hotel is the place to stay in Reykjavík. Check in/out was effortless. Easy pick up and drop off for tour activities. Included breakfast was more than ample with lots of choices. Bus stop nearest the hotel is Gresas - #2, 14 and 15. Grocery is across the street, 5 minutes walk. The staff are always willing to answer questions and assist. Definitely will recommend this hotel to family and friends. Absolutely stay here again.

I’ve stayed at the ODDSSON for 3 nights and it was lovely, really easy checking in since you do not need to queue in reception as they send you a code prior to your Stay and that’s how you get in and out of the property and your room, great location, lovely breakfast, staff were great, the room was nice and clean at arrival and I like how it was always warm, if I do go to Iceland again I would definitely stay at ODDSSON. Car park is limited so don’t expect to park there all the time, luckily we did but there is plenty of street car park near by as an option.

I found this hotel via ******* and decided to take a chance based on reviews and I’m glad I did. Breakfast was great every morning I enjoyed having coffee fresh fruit and waffles every morning and it’s wonderful it’s included with the stay. The staff is friendly, the rooms were clean and updated. Overall I would recommend and stay here again very pleased with our stay. It is an hour walk to downtown which I did once but only 15 minutes if you take a taxi. 10 minutes taxi ride to BSI.

Area was very accessible to get to from city centre. Clean and cosy environment. Some maintenance needed in the facility but overall very pleasant. Very good continental breakfast and restaurant. Self check in very easy to follow
