Nice clean room with groceries and food close by. Reception was very nice too:)

The room is spacious and all are quite new and well maintained. Loved the bathroom, it has door for the shower so won’t be water all around like other hotels I stayed in Iceland. The breakfast is really the best I have in Iceland. A lot of choices and refilled very fast. Highly recommended to stay while you are in Reykjavík.

Good location with free parking. Staffs are so generous and kind compared to other hotels in Iceland. Breakfast is excellent. Nice to have cookies /cake and coffee available for guests  all day. However, the double room’s bathroom is so so small. I can’t move when taking shower. The shower curtain kept coming to touch my body while showering. Moreover, the wall was not sound proof, I woke up when people came to check in at 3 P.M. Recommend to book other room types might be better.

Excellent hotel for solo travel. It is away from the city center, but I had no problem walking downtown and also hopping on the little scooters. Room was quaint. Had everything I needed in the staff is excellent. Would absolutely stay here again.

The room was very clean and spacious. The shuttle buses can pick-up / drop-off right at this hotel which was really convenient for us! There is a supermarket just about 5mins walk away as well.

Very comfortable, I’m very gratefull by the kindness of the personal ! The location was near to the reikyjavik center. Everything was super celan and warm.

The room and bathroom were clean and modern. It was also pleasantly quiet, and the bed was comfortable. Highly recommended!

The room door lock wasn't deadbolted, which was dangerous, especially since it was a combination lock. Also, the bathroom window didn't have a privacy film on the top, meaning malicious people could easily see inside. I had to cut a paper bag open to cover it up, because I believe privacy is paramount.

The hotel is small and poorly laid out. Room 101 faces the lobby directly, very close, with poor sound insulation; you can clearly hear people talking as they come and go. It has four walls, two of which are half-height glass windows overlooking the parking lot—so close you could practically reach out and open the trunk. The windows can't be opened, so the room is poorly ventilated! The noise of people closing their trunks when entering and leaving is incredibly loud. There's no kettle or mini-bar. It's not worth the price.

Hotel Lotus was our first hotel after arriving in Iceland. Although small, it was cozy and made us feel right at home. Free parking was available right outside, and the room itself was spacious enough to accommodate a large suitcase. The room was clean and tidy, with a separate wet and dry bathroom. Surrounded by residential areas, it was very quiet. The hotel also provided breakfast, and while the selection wasn't extensive, the service was friendly and welcoming. We were delighted to start our Icelandic trip at Hotel Lotus!

The hotel environment is very good, with free drinks and snacks at any time, a rich breakfast buffet, and because there is little light pollution around, you can see the aurora when you go out. The only problem is that the heating is not sufficient.
