This hotel was hands down, one of the best hotels I’ve been to. The standard and service was 10/10. Everyone was beyond friendly and always greeted us in a friendly manner. The views were beautiful and the room was as lovely as it were in the pictures. Now the Food!!! The hotel has 3 restaurants on site, everyone needs to try the Wasabi restaurant. Honestly the finest cuisine I’ve had in an all inclusive restaurant. There is a member of staff there called Valerios and he was the such a lovely waiter and did not fail to run all the time to get everyone’s food on time if not before! Bless him. Facilities were perfect. Very peaceful there would recommend it for couples more so. I’d stay there again!

I booked through TUI Heroes to stay for 10 nights 29th August - 08th September, I am only just writing this due to how much we enjoyed this stay and would have to write, I am still in a day dream at how amazing the trip was. The hotel is modern, the staff can not do enough for you, the food is as you would expect from a five star with something different to eat daily. We arrive late due to the air traffic control problems, around 2 A.M. Upon arrival at the hotel we was greeted at reception by a gentleman, he was very friendly and helpful and offered to take our cases to our room. We were given drinks and told we had a cold plate waiting in our room. Walking through an unbelievable reception the gentleman directed us to the check in area which was quick and we was then shown to our room on the ground floor. First impressions of the room were unbelievable, we stayed in a deluxe swim up room with ocean view, which offered surreal views. It was very clean, modern, very comfortable bed which felt like clouds, a large flat screen TV and a walk out sun-bathing section with a large swim up pool (shared with 4/5 other swim up rooms). The room also had a his and her sink with more than enough space for us both to get ready. The shower itself was very powerful which never goes a miss, there was a large rain shower head and a standard shower head. A fully stocked mini fridge topped up daily with Mythos beer, selection of wines, Coke, Lemon Fanta, Sprite and water (also crisp and Haribo). There is plenty of storage space in the rooms, multiple wardrobes, draws and a safe. The cleaner who visited our room daily was very friendly and sweet, made sure we always had what we needed, we also had a turn down service to turn back our bed and put slippers out for us. The hotel itself had three al-a-carte restaurants and a main buffet the later of which opened for morning, lunch and dinner. There was also a pool bar and pool sider lunch time buffet. A section by the pools has a row of multiple shops all of which included in the all inclusive package, they included a coffee shop serving Douwe Egberts, a patisserie shop serving crepes and ice cream etc, a health food store and a street food store serving burgers etc. Our favourite restaurant was Wasabi a five star oriental dining experience with a champagne bar attached with someone playing grande piano daily. The main buffet was also really nice with different themed nights, our favourite of course the Greek themed night. During breakfast the main buffet served an American style breakfast which we thought was exceptional. The Italian restaurant 'Al Dente' was good however, it only served pizzas at lunch time and not in the evenings when it mainly served seafood, that we did not understand as that was the best bit of the Italian.. The al-a-carte greek restaurant Thymari served very good greek food however, the menu was quite small and missing Hummus which the main buffet served during Greek night. The a-la-carte eate

From start to finish this holiday was perfect. We were actually quite emotional to leave! Staff - Wonderful staff who we could easily talk to and have a laugh with alongside being so efficient. They all work so incredibly hard at making your stay perfect. Food - The food was the best food I have ever had at an all-inclusive. The buffet for breakfast and dinner is exceptional and has everything you could want. Dinner is rotational so there were different foods every night. For breakfast one morning we had a live violinist! The Al-a cartes which there are 3, 2 you can visit for lunch without booking which I highly recommend. Very easy to book on the app and had no trouble finding good times. The Asian restaurant was our favourite and visited there twice. There is also an ice cream parlour and multiple snack restaurants you really are spoilt for choice and all of it is of the highest quality. Drinks - Drinks are also exceptional. High quality and branded alcohol. The cocktail menu was extensive. Around the pool they will come and take your order frequently from the comfort of your sun lounger. Rooms - the most stunning view from a hotel room we have ever seen. All rooms are sea view so I don’t think you can go wrong! The facilities are fantastic, lovely shower and bed. We had a late flight and they even let us use a proper room to have a shower and get ready after being at the pool all day. Entertainment - the entertainment is a little limited and isn’t on every night but what they put on is exceptional. We watched a Beatles tribute which was great and funny. A full male opera group was the highlight and nothing I have ever seen before in a hotel. Hotel - the hotel is absolutely stunning and well maintained. The two swimming pools are gorgeous. They are not heated but made for a lovely refresh after sitting in the sun. The spa is also lovely, we didn’t have a treatment but the facilities are free to use and really good. Negatives - We did visit at the end of the season and there was some signs of some work needed to be done like a couple of tiles missing in the pool but all in all we could not fault it! We would have loved the entertainment to be on every night as what we saw was top tier but perhaps the end of the season there is a wind down so we didn’t mind. Overall - I cannot recommend this hotel more. You will not be disappointed. We cannot wait to go back!

We booked Mayia for our honeymoon and whilst it got off to a bad start it did improve. When we arrived, we checked in and were shown to our swim up room. I noticed the room wasn’t as clean as I was expecting, for example the mirrors were streaky and I noticed a squashed bug on the door to the outdoor patio. We also noticed a couple of ants in the bathroom and flagged it to the front desk to sort. The next day I was sat on the bed and noticed a trail of ants going under the bed so I looked under and saw what looked like a piece of food that had been left from the previous guest under the bed which was attracting the ants!!!! There were so many and finding that there was food under the bed disgusted us! We immediately spoke to the front desk again and they said they would remove, but honestly I didn’t want to stay in that room knowing it clearly hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned. After a lot of back and forth with the front desk we eventually got moved and upgraded to a better room, however there was such an atmosphere when going to reception and when we said our room number others started looking at us (we got the feeling we had been talked about amongst the staff). We used the gym a bit however it was so hot in there as they kept the door open so it was pointless having the aircon on. The pool and staff were incredibly hardworking and redeemed most of the trip! Tassos and Renato in particular were brilliant! The food in the restaurant was good but honestly I wouldn’t put it at 5* as whilst it looked big it was quite repetitive . We have been to club med and their food selection is much better. The Asian and Italian restaurant were so so good so we often ate there! The food and service was amazing and we loved it! Ironically the Greek was the worst restaurant (which is why they often had availability) so personally I wouldn’t recommend it! Some of the evening entertainment was amazing, particularly around the pool bar and the nightclub was novel. I’m writing this almost a year on as once we initially left the hotel I was so upset and annoyed with what went wrong but quite a lot did go right and we definitely enjoyed the trip. If you want to do something away from the hotel I would recommend rocking horse ranch for horse riding!

Just spent a week at this stunning hotel and can't speak highly enough of it! A real luxury find, you're overwhelmed with so many food choices for each meal it's easily the best all inclusive we've stayed at. All the staff have been outstanding especially the ones bringing us drinks all day long by the pool and the amount of sunbeds is great as you never have to worry about getting one. Also a special shout out to the water fitness girls they were fantastic, very funny and got us going in the mornings. It's a very peaceful location and our room with a swim up infinity pool overlooking the sea was perfect. Thanks for a super holiday we will be back!!!

We were stayed in a beach view villa with its own private pool and it was absolutely stunning. The hotel has 3 a’la carte restaurants, the main buffet ( which shouldn’t be dismissed) and the street food outlets, which made a welcome change for a lighter snack. All the staff were very friendly. Service at lunch was sometimes a little slow and the resort would benefit from a more extensive wine list with explanations and with perhaps a sommelier to aid with food pairings. The evening entertainment was brilliant and at the right time, no need to rush dinner to get there. We’ll have been to 3 ikos hotels and as a comparison the hotel is up there. Just a couple of tweaks with service and it is certainly on a par. We would visit again.

Having been to many All Inclusive hotels in Europe and the world wide, I didn't believe Mexico could be beaten. However everything about Mayia Exclusive Resort is about your guest experience. From when you firs t walkin to when you leave nothing is too much for the staff. The rooms are immaculate and remail that way throughout your stay. The food is plenty full and to a very high standard with plenty of choice. The drinks are all branded and a very wide selection available. Around the pools drinks are delivered as and when you want if you take a break from the sun Renate is on have to deliver everything from beer to cocktails, and staff are not restricted to coktails. THis hotel is well worth the five stars. A massive thank you to the staff for making this holiday one of if not the best ever. My review is late due to medical issue not connection with Mayia Looking forward to booking again. Tim

The resort is beautiful; contemporary and elegant. Our room was lovely with a huge comfortable bed. We had booked a junior suite with a deck and shared infinity pool but as it was in shade from around 11.30 we spent most of our time by the main pools. The infinity pool was still warm enough to take a dip in the evening. The main pools have waiters offering drinks and there are pool exercise classes - the women who ran them made it a lot of fun. The gym is excellent - really, really, good - and we even attended a jump class on trampolines which was brilliant. Food in the main buffet restaurant was exceptional with so much to choose from. Breakfast was wow. Pizzas in the Italian were fantastic and the Asian restaurant was excellent. I had a dessert at the Greek restaurant that I could happily eat every day for the rest of my life. There are outlets serving salads, sandwiches, burgers, etc. A lovely Gelateria and coffee shop (great coffee throughout the hotel). Valerios who runs the champagne bar and also works in the Asian restaurant is wonderful. He’s a real character who makes drinks and dinner an event. Everyone adored him. I wasn’t drinking alcohol as I was taking medication - ‘No problem. I have alcohol-free champagne’. And he did. The mocktail list is limited and feels like children’s drinks (mainly fruit-cocktails). That said, if I asked them to do something else for me (daiquiris, Virgin Marys), it was no problem at all. Entertainment by the bar was really good and we went to the amphitheatre (they have an amphitheatre!) to hear South African tenors (outstanding!). The staff members are lovely. Everyone you encounter makes such an effort. We ordered coffee on our first morning and Sinderella (great name) remembered what we had every day after that. Eleni was always cheerful and welcoming. Emanuel in the bar worked so hard and so quickly and would replenish our drinks without us having to ask. They’re incredibly quick to resolve things - we came back on a couple of days to find towels had gone. One call to reception and someone would be at our door with a pile of fluffy towels and a smile within about 90 seconds. The app could do with some work - you can’t book activities on it and the pages are sometimes slow to load or don’t load at all - but that’s a minor thing that I’m sure will improved. The resort is very inclusive and diverse - they were welcoming to everyone. We had a massage treatments at the spa - I really wish we’d spent more time at the spa - there’s a great pool and saunas/steam rooms. I had Dimitris and it was the best massage I’ve had in my life. We really wanted somewhere where we could relax completely and it’s what we got. We returned feeling like we’d been on holiday for a month. The resort is really spectacular but it’s brought to life by its exceptional staff.

This place is just stunning! The staff are fantastic, can’t do enough for you. The rooms are beautiful, spacious and light. The bed was huge! Several different restaurants on the resort, and every meal we had was lovely. Asian, Italian, Greek. The main restaurant was also fantastic with a vast selection of different foods to suit everyone, buffet style and also made fresh to order. There’s also a street food place where you can get snacks/coffees/icecreams/cakes. A minute walk from the beach (where we went every day). The sea is quite pebbly, but beach shoes sorted that. Genuinely can’t recommend this place enough. Will definitely be going back!
