Lindos Mare, Seaside Hotel

What an absolute gem! We stayed at Lindos Mare for the entirety of our 11 day trip to Rhodes island and were blown away. The hotel rooms, facilities, decor and staff were impeccable. On our arrival (we didn’t check in until midnight) we were greeted with a glass of local sparkling wine and found freshly prepared sandwiches, fruit and snacks in our room incase we were hungry. Every member of staff was courteous and went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Across the duration of our stay we had a number of gifts left in our room (on their Easter weekend - a traditional plaited bread loaf and painted eggs, and on a separate occasion a beautiful bottle of local wine. The hotel is located just a short distance from Lindos town (about a 5 minute drive or bus journey) whilst also having its own private beech and 2 beautiful pool areas. We hired a car for our trip which allowed us to explore the entirety of the island and we even took a boat from Rhodes town across to Symi (would definitely recommend - one word ‘wow’). Breakfast offered a good range of choices from fresh fruit, pastries, local meats and cheese, salad and hot food. We ate in both of the a la carte restaurants and the food was delicious. We would 100% recommend this beautiful hotel and will no doubt be returning!

Just returned from a fantastic relaxing pool holiday, and we look forward to returning to see the amazing staff. My sister recommended the Lindos Mare and it certainly did not disappoint, with its lovely food and great customer care. Efi, the Resident Manager, provided Helen and myself with a stunning room view and her appetite to create a family feel is clear for all to see. Wow what an amazing hotel. We visited lindos mare for 10 days from the 29th-8th June. When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by the lovely staff who took our bags and offered us champagne on arrival. Our bags were taken to our room for us and were shown around our room. The rooms were clean and tidy and had everything you could need. The hotel was very clean and modern. There was always space around the pool, and the beach was amazing, always sun beds available. The staff were all so helpful and friendly especially the main dining hall staff. They were so helpful and always greeted us, always asked how our day had been and took their time to speak with us. Had a lovely time here and will definitely be returning ! Would recommend to anyone !! THANK YOU !! Would like to add a special mention for savvas! You were great and always so friendly ! 😁

We are coming to the end of a two week stay here and we cannot fault the hotel at all. Even before we arrived I had emailed and nothing was too much trouble. So from the moment we arrived in the early hours the amazing experience started. We had missed dinner but that did not matter as they left us snacks in the fridge- not only that but we were able to have a voucher to use for lunch in Pelagos pool restaurant. We had booked an inland view which was still so pleasant as we looked into a courtyard with trees and beautiful wildlife such as swallows. And the odd occasional cat too. The main restaurant is so well organised by Savas - the Service Manager - and his team. We were greeted every day with lovely smiles by everyone including Ina and many many more. They quickly got to know my love for cappuccino fredo and towards the end I didn’t even have to ask for it. They just know! Such attention to detail is very rare. The Pelagos restaurant team are also incredible- such smiles and amazing service. For those that don’t drink alcohol like myself it was great as there were mocktail options and they would happily make me a pina colada without rum. And they even made my husband an Amaretto Sour which wasn’t on the menu. Meltemi Greek taverna experience- as part of our stay we could use this restaurant once per week at no extra cost. It was a wonderful menu experience and the portion sizes were not stingy at all. We leave today with a heavy heart and sadness as has been the greatest two weeks. Thank you team Lindos Mare 🩵🇬🇷🦋

We spent 10 days in this wonderful hotel. Everything about it is first class, the food, the service the cleanliness of all areas and the super views. The hotel is situated in a quiet spot just outside of Lindos, the local bus stops outside the hotel, a few minutes into Lindos town, well worth a visit. We rarely return to an hotel but this may be one that we will, warrants a five star review

Very nice hotel and first class customer service. So friendly, helpful, polite and professional. Staff went the extra mile to make our stay as good as possible. Lovely views from the breakfast room and our rooms. 5 mins out of Lindos by taxi - some excellent restaurants there including Christof which was Michelin standard and relatively reasonable considering the standard of cuisine.

We had a lovely stay at the Lindos Mare Hotel. It’s in a lovely location. All the staff were very friendly. Food was very good in the two restaurants we ate in. We had the lobster tasting menu next door at Lindos Blu and also ate one night at Lindos Aqua Terra. Both nice. Lindos itself is worth a visit especially up to the Acropolis. We also went to Rhodes town for the day. Visited the palace and walled town. Very interesting. In summary I would definitely stay at the Lindos Mare again. Only minus was there were no pavements as such outside the hotel so difficult to walk down into Lindos or elsewhere.

Great hotel and lovely staff. The grounds are nicely planted and the pool area is great for relaxing. Nice beach and views. restaurants are good and reasonably priced. Recommended if you are taking a trip to Rhodes, and the hotel is a good base for exploring the island.

After researching all the reviews on hotels on Rhodes we selected Lindos Mare and were not dissapointed. Hotel and staff were excellent, nothing was too much trouble. Restaurant staff very efficient. 2 lovely pools. Food was very good and we had plenty of choice. Drinks not over priced. Our room was kept very clean and was well designed, large sea view balcony. Lindos town is only a 5 min bus ride from the stop outside the hotel. We would have liked to walked it but it is not advised as you have walk along the main road side. Approx. 1 1/4 hours to Rhodes town by local bus. Nice private beach with free sun beds and sun shade. Sea looked very clean. We stayed before the resort really got going however, it is a quite quiet bay not full of bars /night life etc. Just what we wanted.
