Stayed at lindos sun. Great hotel. Has very relaxed vibe. More of an adult vibe as no children swimming pool. No entertainment. Cocktail bar is lovely. No tavernas within walking really and it is SO hot and hilly you just catch the bus literally outside hotel. Less than 4 euros into lindos or opp direction pefkos at night, just get taxi back 8 euros. Great bus service. Easier than a car. Rhodes Town, etc on bus. Just get a bus ticket at kiosk for your return bus trip as queues quite long. LOTS of sun beds. Every day I counted 10+ free as people go off site for the day on trips, weddings etc. so no rush to put towels down (free pool towels from reception) small Navarone beach nearby too. Highly recommend.

The hotel is a beautifully clean hotel ideal for couples and those wanting to relax! I can honestly say the food is some of the best I’ve had in any hotel. The restaurant is like a little taverna so you don’t feel like you’re in a hotel dining room. The staff are wonderful and can’t do enough for you. My only negative is the location is about a 20 minute walk from lindos - however there are regular busses and taxis cost about €10. It’s just I would prefer somewhere more centrally located. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone

Wouldn't suit everybody as the hotel is on a main road but ideal for us, relaxing hotel, staff friendly, lots of sun beds, bus stop outside for Lindos and Rodes Town one way and Pefkos and Lardos the other way. We really enjoyed our stay at the Lindos Sun, food was excellent. Would definitely return.

Our last day in this beautiful hotel and I’m so sad to be going home. Everything from the welcome greeting, to getting to our final day has been second to none. The hotel is beautifully maintained, traditional yet with everything you could need. The pool is first class clean, with plenty of sunbeds well spaced out. Absolutely no need to put towels out and if we went out walking in the morning there were still plenty to choose from when we got back. Our room, 273 had a gorgeous sea view, traditional in looks, the best shower facility, plenty of space and fabulous air con! The food is amazing, something for everyone. Usually we eat out a couple of times, this must be the first holiday that we didn’t as we didn’t want to miss anything lol. There’s a poolside bar which serves drinks and food. Gorgeous good, massive portion size and excellent value for money!! Now, here’s the thing….. the staff. Oh my word…. They are the hotel. They must live, sleep and breathe the word ‘service’. We’ve stayed in some amazing 5 star hotels over the years but here, the staff top them all… so thank you so much to every single of them for making our stay special. The cocktail terrace is beautiful at night (could just do with the occasional live singer, but that’s me being picky now!). Practical wise, there are bus stops right outside the hotel to Lindos (and further) and Pefkos. 1.80euros each way. Bargain. We walked to Lindos most days and thoroughly enjoyed our morning walks taking in the views of the sea. The streets and walk ways are so pretty. At night it takes a different vibe, magical. Love this place so much ❤️

This is a fantastic hotel if you just want to chill out. My wife and I had a ground floor room which lead out to the pool which was very handy. There is plenty of sun beds and the hotel loans you/us a large towel to lay on. Brill. The staff are very friendly and helpful and we were met with a friendly greeting and smile every morning for 14 days. The food was fantastic. The breakfast was a choice of various fry’s or continental along with a choice of beautiful cakes. There is an area near the pool to have lunch with excellent food and drinks. However the meals at night were fantastic. It was mainly Greek food and it was delicious and all the guests we spoke to agreed. If you want to hit the bars Pfcos is near by bus or a €10 taxi drive. Overall, my friend and I felt that this hotel was fantastic value. The highlight of our trip was absolutely the food. This was my 1st time trying 1/2 board and it was very positive. Excellent daily selection of freshly made breakfast and dinner items. The wait staff were efficient and friendly and even helped us to learn some basic phrases in Greek for which we are very grateful. Tables always set with beautiful fresh white linen. The location for us was perfect - 1/2 way between the North and South of the island, with a bus stop directly outside, perfect for those who wish to explore. A 15 minute walk into beautiful Lindos and St Paul’s Bay. All areas of the hotel were always spotlessly clean. We had an evening flight and made use of the pool room shower before our departure flight which was spacious, clean, and we left for our flight feeing refreshed. We arrived late at night and staff had saved us some dinner which was very thoughtful, and were able to prepare us a packed breakfast box on our last day for an early morning excursion when we would otherwise have missed breakfast. Lovely bar area in which to sit prior to dinner. The hotel was small and quiet and had more of a relaxing adult atmosphere which was perfectly suited to us. Beautiful 1st floor sea view balcony. There were a few minor points which we overlooked as overall the hotel was fantastic and we only felt that the following issues were minor but worth mentioning. The standard room was very small so bear this in mind when packing luggage - try to pack a light small suitcase. The fridge was very noisy and could not be unplugged but we did not complain as we assumed this would be the same for every room and we just used earplugs instead. When we asked the barman if the wine the hotel sold was local/Greek wine he said he didn’t know as it “wasn’t my thing” - we would expect a barperson to have this basic level of knowledge of all drinks being served at the bar. The cocktails however were made excellently. Toiletries were watery so had to use double the amount of shampoo/shower gel. Hairdryer not very powerful. If you want to style hair bring your own - I wasn’t bothered and just let my hair dry naturally. Only one key for the room, 2 would have been ideal. Some building works commencing across the road, outwith the hotel’s control but may impact some sea view rooms. Also, at check in the hotel charged a 150 euro damage deposit - we were not told by Jet 2 about this so it took us by surprise. We paid it and were told it would just be a preauthorisation but the money left my account and has not yet been returned post check out despite no damage to the room so now we are back in the UK we will have to chase this up with Jet2 which is a bit inconvenient. So a few minor points but overall we absolutely loved Lindos Sun and it was absolutely excellent value for money, thank you for the wonderful Greek hospitality!

Needs improvements before we would consider returning. Staff work long hours and never look happy. At breakfast we were never greeted with a smile, no kalimea or good morning, basically find yourself a table and sit and wait forever til they ask if you want a coffee! Even if you’re the first one there for breakfast the tables aren’t set, no cups, no cutlery. At dinner time, tables were not cleared, you’d wait ages for someone to take a drinks order. It’s was not a relaxing experience at all! We had one good experience from who I believe to be the senior / restaurant manger who I asked if he could make us a Greek coffee, he was very polite and made them for us. Later in our holiday he saw my husband and remembered our order. Wonderful! Let’s talk the evening bar… read your clientele!! The mangers should step in here because every night during our week long stay, we experienced head banging rap ‘swearing’ music. It was horrendous! The young staff basically played “their” music and also hid in the back of the bar just messing about. One night a couple walked in and said “where is everyone, it’s dead”. Your hotel full of guests have either gone elsewhere or are stuck in their rooms because they can’t stand the horrible music. At the time of booking the only room available was a classic double, we arrived at 1pm show to our room and was pretty disappointed. It’s very basic, no space to lay suitcase flat and very little space to unpack and hang clothes. No counter space for toiletries and the fridge noise was unbearable. Please please change the bedlinen, it’s like sleeping in a crisp packet. The sheets are so hard against your skin and really noisy. Thankfully the next morning we managed to upgrade (€350) to the private pool room, which was well worth it!! The pool room is much more spacious, wonderful relaxing balcony with loungers and a view of the sea (although not for long for some pool rooms as villas are going up opposite). We had some visitors on a couple of days as the goats came for a drink at our pool. The main pool is relaxing with plenty of beds, and the pool bar is lovely for lunch and a beer! We hired a car which I would advise to explore the island more (our 6th visit) however you can get the bus to Lindos or Pefkos, or walk to Lindos. Go to the supermarket to stock up on water, beer and stacks. Overall the hotel looks the part but does not offer the service or relaxing atmosphere you should get on holiday.

We really enjoyed our stay at this family run hotel. Immaculately clean, friendly staff. Comfiest bed we've ever had in Greece. We were in a classic room on ground floor which was fine but would recommend you ask for a 1st floor room as their small balconies are more private. Most giving sea/coast views. Rainwater shower with plenty hot water, complimentary, shower gel, soap, body lotion. Towels can be changed everyday. Maid service everyday- Larissa was brilliant. Hairdryer, fridge with mini bar, free air con, flat screen tv- (bbc news, mtv) free safe in room and free beach towels. Hotel inbetween Lindos and Pefkos. 20 min walk into Lindos with incline going there- not hard by any means but we grew sick of it at the end of the holiday. Its easier coming back. Walking to Pefkos not an option. 8€ in a taxi. Cheaper on bus which run every half hour- ish. Mainly adults here, other than the lovely pool theres not much for kids- ideal for us though. Plenty sunbeds. You can pay extra for room with small private pool. I wouldnt bother. Main pool is lovely and never too busy. Staff go out of their way to be helpful. Couldnt fault the food- we were half board. Served on buffet basis. About 6 different options of mains. Was that good that we only ever ate out for lunch. Bus stop right outside hotel and cashpoint. There are no bars/shops/supermarkets near the hotel. Nearest in Lindos- as mentioned walk or 1.80€ on bus. Snack bar near the pool serves excellent freshly cooked food thats good value. Minor matter but if hotel put on a shuttle bus to/from Lindos/Pefkos It would be top notch. Highly recommend a trip into Rhodes on the bus 6€ each way. Takes about 75 mins. Go early and come back early afternoon to miss the crowds. Would recommend this hotel for a relaxing chilled holiday. Not if you want to be bang in the middle of the action.

This is a great hotel, everything was very clean and looked after. The staff were friendly and helpful. Meals are buffet and are a good selection which was different every night. The only thing I would mention is the road at the front of the hotel can sometimes be quite noisy, but not enough to be a big problem. As with other reviews we were at first given a room at the back of the hotel that has the kitchen extractor fans above it, which meant we would not have wanted to sit out on the balcony. I asked if we could be moved and the next day we were given a room overlooking the pool which was much, much better. If I was going to this hotel again I would pay extra for a superior room as these all overlook the pool (we booked a classic room) The bar was a great place for pre or after diner drinks. Wine was 28€ for a bottle of house wine. I feel bottled water should have been free, as with most other hotels we have stayed at, not 2.5€ a bottle. We used the supermarket in Lindos a number of times for beer, wine and water. It is not in the town but on the outskirts on the main road, the bus from outside the hotel stops right outside it, fare 1.8€. We used Navarone beach a lot, it’s easy to get to, about a 15 minute walk. You come out of the hotel turn right walk along the road until you see the sigh for the memories hotel, walk down the road then on a path next to the hotel and the public beach is on the right. There are no facilities so we purchased a sun umbrella at the supermarket. I was told that other beaches where you hire bed and umbrellas were charging 40€ a day for 2 beds and an umbrella! Sun beds around the pool were always available which is a big plus as some hotels we’ve stayed at are all taken first thing in the morning. A themed night would have been a great addition perhaps a BBQ or Greek night? But overall this is a very nice hotel.
