Lindos Sun Hotel

We had a wonderful stay at Lindos Sun. The service was excellent, the food good, and the poolside restaurant was a pleasant surprise — offering generous portions at very reasonable prices. We were lucky to receive a complimentary upgrade from a superior room to one with a private pool, which made our stay even more enjoyable. A few minor downsides: the nearest supermarket is about a 25-minute walk away along a busy road, so we recommend taking the bus, which conveniently stops right outside the hotel. Breakfast was good overall, though drinks had to be ordered through the staff rather than being self-serve. This sometimes led to delays — drinks arrived 10–15 minutes after we’d finished eating, which was a bit inconvenient. All in all, we had a great experience at Lindos Sun. While there are a few small areas for improvement, it’s a lovely hotel that offers great value and service.

We stayed at The Lindos Sun for 7 nights at the end of September . It was further away from Lindos than we thought but was walkable although we chose not too as the walk was along a main road and not picturesque. I would guess the walk would take 30 / 40 minutes into Lindos .We ordered cabs from reception at the hotel and they always came within 5 minutes costing 10€. The breakfast was quite frankly outstanding with a huge amount of variety .Our room was lovely with a fabulous Seaview and a large bed that was very comfortable. There is a mini bar with enough room to add an extra can of drink etc . The shower was brilliant , high pressured and always hot .The only thing that let the room down was it didn't have enough storage ...needs some little drawers and a mirror over the vanity table area . The pool area is lovely offering sun bathing on grass with a generous ammount of room between the beds which we loved .The pool itself is lovely and large and the entire place is kept spotlessly clean ..Everyone was helpful and we enjoyed our stay a lot .

We are just about to leave Lindos Sun Hotel, and this visit has been even better than the last. The staff are all so courteous and friendly, especially Nadia, Katarina, Marina and the girls from the Elia pool bar/restaurant. The rooms are exactly what you would expect from the photos. We had an initial problem with our air con, but after raising it with the hotel, it was fixed within a matter of hours. The food (quality and portion size) in the Elia bar is excellent - Pizza, Burger, Salads, Sandwiches - a great variety and very tasty. Le Grec, the newest addition to the hotel, is nothing short of a revelation. The food is astonishing. We couldn't get enough, and, considering the quality, the price is very reasonable. The location is a short walk from Lindos town - about 15 mins uphill, or €10 flat fee in a taxi - which has a fantastic selection of restaurants and bars. All in all, I loved my stay here, again, and would highly recommend to anyone who wants to stay in a quiet, relaxing part of Rhodes.

Although the rooms are a little basic, the hotel is stunning! Lovely pool and bar areas, never too busy. Breakfast was great, lots of options, but drinks are ordered through the staff and took a long time to come each morning, sometimes arriving after we’d eaten our food. Irons aren’t provided, and they charge between €1.50-€2.50 per item, so iron before you go! Walkable distance into Lindos, around 15 mins! Otherwise bus stop is outside the hotel and takes 5mins into Lindos. Can also get a 5 min bus to pefkos which we loved!

This was our first B&B experience (after normally doing all inclusive hotels) Lindos Sun is a beautiful hotel offering white washed 2 storey villa type apartments. The pool is stunning ( crystal clear) and loads of space around it for the sun beds. There was always unused beds and no need to get up at the crack of dawn to reserve a bed. We stayed in the superior room ( in the relatively new block) but they are similar to the classic rooms ( in the older block) - other than being slightly larger (especially in the bathroom) and having door/window shutters. The breakfast is exceptional - huge choice and very tasty- probably the best we have ever experienced. Yes the hotel is not in Lindos but a mile out on the road to Pefkos. You would not want to walk in the heat. The bus stop is outside the hotel and is very efficient and cheap - 2 euros to Lindos and Pefkos. Both places we visited regularly and have loads of restaurants. Pefkos is a real find and slightly cheaper than Lindos. The al a carte restaurant on site ( situated in a fabulous new building built in 2025) is fine dining at its best and whilst a bit pricey delivered the best food we had. The customer service, waiter and waitress service was excellent. Whilst it is not an adults only hotel it is mainly Uk couples - with the odd baby toddler. The local beach (less than a mile away) is beautiful and quiet with great snorkelling and crystal clear blue sea. You can use the Lindian hotel beach sunbeds and large pool for 30 Euros a couple - great value. Overall a fantastic experience and we will be returning.
