Best holiday ever ❤. Very comfy room(pool floor) with nice view on the pool. Easy access to pool bar and stunning restaurant. Very big choice of food and very good food. Beautiful view from pool on the beach bar and sea. Pool always was tidy, easy access to aqua park in second building. Beach was real beauty little bit stony better go with water shoes. Comfy sun beds and nice umbrellas. Nice choice of food in Beach Buffet the best pizza ever, crepes and waffles. Nice extras A la Carte Restsuront. The best thing in Blue Sea Island Resort was stuff of this brilliant hotel. We wore threatened as a family. Big thanks to: Maria beach food court and A la Carte de Resturante ❤, Maria creeps and waffles maker (kalimera) , Anna lifeguard, Yannis Vasilis and Eleni beach bar Lindsa, Costas and Capitan pool bar , Sotiria aqua park bar,Reception stuff and lobby bartender, Chief of the kitchen and whole stuff of restaurant, Beacon Boy and Omelette Girl , and to all management. We had a great time, restaurant & bar staff were amazing, cleaners hard working from early morning to keep the hotel clean and tidy. The receptionists can be more helpful and smiling, but we didn’t need them often, so not a big deal for us. We have asked for a thicker duvet for our little one and extra pillow and it has been sorted within couple of hours. I also like the idea of 2 drinks only per person, it’s fair to everyone. The pizza & crepes corner… the best pizza I’ve ever had, kebab so tasty, I could eat it every day as an afternoon snack :) Food in the main restaurant has every day different theme night, various options for adults, kids, vegans etc. it also seems visitors starting to realise that food waste is not necessary and don’t overload their plates. We also rented a car for a whole week including airport transfers as it worked out cheaper than pay for transfer while booking the holiday, there is a free parking around the hotel and you can explore the island on your own, I would recommend fishing with Captain Kopelos, I managed to catch a lion fish!!! The water park is a bit smaller than it looks at the pictures, but we still had a great time, the bar there is less crowded, doing nice toasted sandwiches and the staff there are friendly and welcoming. The Greek ala carte restaurant set up hasn’t disappoint us, huge portions of excellent food, the cheese balls were just… wow!!! Overall, we would love to come back but we have decided to explore other Greek Islands as we found greek culture the best we discovered so far. Many thanks for everything, keep doing your job like you do and don’t worry about silly negative comments, you can’t please everyone.

Stayed as a family of 4, couple plus two teens. We had a family room which was big enough for 4 basically adult sized people. Kids had 2 sofa beds behind sliding doors. My one criticism about the rooms is that there are no drawers at all. This lack of storage was annoying, so our underwear etc stayed in the suitcase. Cleaning daily, was really thorough. 8 large water bottles left for your arrival. At the end of the season, you can get a chill (although it was unseasonably hot for us). This was catered for with lots of extra spare bedding. No iron or ironing board nor are they available when requested. Check-in was super quick we received a sandwich which was reasonable. Breakfast was good, the one critique about the dinning room is the layout. The food is all packed into a corner which makes its crowded and not relaxing. Evening meals were reasonable but we opted to eat out a lot as we prefer service. Lunch snacks were great, salad, giros, pizza and crepes. Drinks were good, barstaff very friendly. Pool cold but clean. Beach lovely. Lots of loungers in october. All in all lovely holiday before the winter sets in. I would recommend. A couple of tweaks and it really could be outstanding

So hopefully this is a fair overall review. The hotel is beautiful, it’s clearly been newly renovated and whilst there are some small snags the overall standard is good. Everything is kept immaculately clean and the maids never seem to stop mopping the common areas. Our room was cleaned every day with clean sheets and fresh towels left daily. We found the food really good and whilst the food in the main restaurant was a little smart by the end of the week there was so much choice it was never a problem. The pizza bar was amazing with fresh pizzas made throughout the whole service 12-6 every day. There were also fresh crepes/ waffles/ ice creams So now for the not so good points. We arrived at around 11:30 at night and we’re very tired. We checked in easily and the hotel had wrapped some hame and cheese sandwiches up for us to take one when we arrived, which was a nice touch. We got to our room and we were really impressed with the selection of fruit that had been left in our room for us along with a bottle of local red wine and 6 large bottles of water, great! By this point it was nearly midnight and we were desperate to get our 8 year old to bed, however, we had not been left any sheets for the sofa bed. I rang reception who said they’d send someone over straight away, however, 20 minutes later no one had arrived, I rang again and was told 2 minutes. Another 10 minutes went by and I started to walk over to reception as we were exhausted and just wanted to sleep, I bumped into a member of staff coming my way who just showed me where the sheets were and told me to help myself. My little boy also had no pillows, however, by this point I just gave him a towel to use as he was done. The next morning I asked the cleaner for a pillow for him but none were left, however, I do accept this might have been might fault due to the language barrier. I finally solved the issue after another call to reception. We were due to leave at 19:00 so the day before I went to reception and asked if it would be possible to have a late check out, I was told yes we could have our room until 6pm as there were no more reservations, however, I was then told it would be €60, I politely declined as I felt that was quite a lot just to keep the room, however, if that was their policy fine. The problem came the next morning when I’d raced around packing everything up so we were ready for the 11am check out and the woman in front of me was told she could keep her room until 18:00 and there would be no charge. As you can imagine I was a little annoyed at this point! A few other things to note about the hotel and area in general. All of the staff were lovely. Especially the barmaid at the water park bar and the lifeguard. A few night’s during our stay there was a photographer taking photos on the way into the restaurant. He took a lot of pictures and the next day wanted to charge me €64. I only wanted one of them but there was a two print minimum and it ended up costing me

Just returned home from a weeks stay, the hotel itself is clean. The food in the main restaurant in my opinion is awful, there is no real orange juice at breakfast just watered down juice. The set up of the restaurant is so disorganised , the cups and glasses for drinks are no where near the machines, the are no plates next to the bread and the butter is round the corner, the toasters are useless and don't work properly. The staff serving the food are all miserable and the alcoholic drinks are very poor only about 8 drinks on the menu and all taste awful. The beach bar serves nice pizza and crepes although the lady serving them is miserable and rude. There is a bus stop outside that can take you to a lot of different places and all within a 20-40 minute bus ride. We made the best of our holiday by going out most days and eating out. There is also a lot of steps at this hotel. could not use Al a Carte restaurant as was fully booked. Entertainment was also poor standard. I would not rate this hotel as a 4 Star

Nice staff in the restaurant and close to the beach (but no avalible sun-beds of you arent there at 8 in the morning): that is all good I have to say about this hotel. We came to this hotel 5th August and leave 12th August. While arriving our familyroom in the main-building didnt exist. We got two separate rooms in the annex. Both rooms were filled with ants, even in the shower. They promised our familyroom would be done at 11.00 the next day. When we came to the reception at 11.00 they Said it wasnt ready. So between 11-15 we had no room. When we got our new room all the water from the shower flooded the bathroom and room. A handy-man came to fix it and Said it was sand and hair in the drain. Then he leaves the hair, dirt and sand on the floor. We had to walk to the reception three times to get them to take the dirt away. It took six hours. Maybe our feeling for the hotel has been different if they only once Said ”sorry”, but no. The room should get cleaned every day, but two days they didnt have the time to clean it. I felt sorry for the cleaning-staff who did their best under all pressure. The room was not ready for guests, unfinished decor and big holes in the wall in the bathroom. The balcony and outside was terrible. A big green tent stood outside our balcony, and that was our view. Even if you book a room with inland view, that is not ok. Speaking of balcony, we couldnt close our balcony-door. So every day and night it was a little bit open. Surprise that the door wasnt finished either. At many places in the hotel you could see it wasnt finished. Outside our door it was a chipboard, no idea Why. The food in the restaurant was ok, not more, not less. Once per stay you get a free dinner down by the beach, wich you should book in the reception two days before. At monday we tried to book our dinner up on thursday but they were fully booked all week, so we didnt get that dinner. Unprofessional! This is absolutley NOT a 4* hotel. Maybe its 4* if you are german, all activities and notes were based on the german guests. This hotel is not worth all the money we spent, Thank god TUI helped us out and we got some of the money back. I could not recommend this hotel to anyone.

We stayed at this hotel for 11 days with my husband and child in July. The hotel had reconstructed rooms, however some finishing touches were sometimes made in the hotel and its grounds. Rooms were smaller but OK. Rooms were cleaned daily, thanks young nice ladies. Minibar was filled only upon arrival with 6 big bottles of water and sandviches if you came later- after 23h. Thankfully we had our room just by the pool in the main building. There is no changing cabine by the pool or by the beach and only 1 toilette in amphiteather which was often dirty. I saw a rat 1 evening there.... If you are leaving later in the evening, you have no place to shower or change since there is no changing room or spa. Never experienced this before.... The food was average, repetitive. The restaurant was full but we had no problem to find a table. The waiting staff was very nice, polite and working very hard. Doing their best. Thank you! The restaurant was often out of plates or small spoons, glasses. Drinks were normal as in every other all inclusive resorts we have been before. Local non -alcoholic, alcoholic drinks and coctails. The pool was nice , clean. Lot of sunbeds anytime. But there was problem to find sunbeds at the beach. You have to reserve them by 8 am. The upper part of the beach was flooded by some water or something and was not pleasant, it was muddy. I think they fixed it by the time of our departure. The beach is small and the sunbeds are close to each other. Water is crystal clean and clear. We could see a lot of fish and snorkled a lot. Animation team was fine. Doing their best. They did day and night programme as well. Sometimes the night programme was like kids camp fun. The aquapark was nice but the water there was VERY cold. The aquapark buliding is across the street. It is separate from the main building. Overall the stay was nice but we expected more for the money we paid and as was advertised. We would rate it as 3 plus maybe.

I loved this hotel. Everyone is very nice and they try hard to make us feel comfortable in there. The food is amazing, the beach is very clean and you have a lot of sun beds. The pool is very nice place , the pool bar makes a lot of good cocktails. I had a great time! Can't wait to come again!

We have just returned from a week's holiday at the Blue Sea Island Hotel. Everything was absolutely perfect. We were given a beautiful room - thanks again to Mrs Irini :-), everything was cleaned every day. The staff was very friendly and helpful when needed. The hotel has been recently renovated, everything is brand new. The furnishings are tasteful and modern. The food was absolutely exclusive, the drinks and cocktails too. There is a beautiful beach next to the hotel, you can snorkel in the sea. The city center is very close. It is possible to take buses for excursions, which have a stop right in front of the hotel. I definitely recommend the hotel!
