Hawthorn Extended Stay by Wyndham Richardson

Awful When I checked in, I was upgraded to a suite. It would have been fine except the room had an awful odor, stove elements were hanging by wires and the ac wasn’t working. The bathrooms were disgusting. Moved to another room, ac worked, however there were bugs and spiders. They advertised a pool but there was only a water bottle and trash in the bottom. Were shown two other rooms, the appliances were rusted and the key readers didn’t work correctly.

Needs TLC The cleanliness of the rooms left much to be desired, I found myself cleaning and disinfecting our space upon arrival. The sheets and towels were visibly stained, which was disappointing; thankfully, I always travel with my own. That said, the beds were surprisingly comfortable, which made the lack of attention to housekeeping details all the more unfortunate. With proper maintenance and a bit of TLC, this hotel has real potential. On a positive note, the cleaning staff were warm and courteous. It’s likely they’re overwhelmed by the size of the rooms, and perhaps additional staffing could make a significant difference. Despite these hiccups, I still had a pleasant stay overall.

Just sad The room: generally bad and deeply worn condition. The one plus was that the a/c chilled the room quickly once I figured out that it wasn't connected to the thermostat on the wall. Light bulbs were missing from several fixtures. The phone wasn't connected. The microwave was literally held together with gorilla tape. Every piece of metal in the toilet was rusty. Housekeeping: the towels were thin and gray from inadequate cleaning or just age. A couple of soiled items were left from some previous guest, I assume. The were bugs in the toilet area. Facilities: parking appeared inadequate for the number of rooms. There was nothing in the pool but debris. Breakfast: two options for cereal, toast, a waffle iron and a chafing dish with sausage links and egg substitute patties.

When I got there, it was a wait, after having it booked over a month. When I did get the room, the blanket was stained, gross. Washers didn’t work, only two for the entire hotel, I used a machine and my clothes stayed soaked, they gave me my two dollars back but she followed me in laundry room seen my clothes and laughed.i called about pool, they said it would be open may 1st, I arrived may 3rd, that was a lie. It was empty n filthyyy. There were water bugs everywhere!!!!!!!! I took videos so dont really have actual photos.

We had a good 1 night, room is spacious. Pls add fruits or eggs in the morning . Thank you so much

Patio door doesn’t open Many outlets don’t work Stains throughout the place including blood Cobwebs Kitchen Stove is hazardous dirty and the silver is band corroded The vent trey missing Stove and oven dirty Microwave dirty Panty dirty No trash cans Living room Stains and burns throughout carpets upstairs and downstairs Lamps are yellow stains Tv didn’t display anything No phones Lighting is terrible Bathrooms Toilet stains Tub stains and needs to be resurfaced Hair dryer broken and shocks you when you plug it in and causing electrical problems Bottom bathroom door doesn’t close Light fixture has weird black stuff White towels are not white The little vanity chairs and thick of disgust The smell of mold and stale cigarettes it’s you when you first walked in
