Red Roof Inn Richmond, VA

I will NOT recommend this hotel to anyone who are health conscious. The whole facility in infested with insects and cochroaches. Imagine roaches flying in your room in the middle of night and you are not able to sleep. This is the reality of this place as I witnessed firsthand. The management has no interest in fixing the issues. I have to wait for 2 days for the hangers to be put on. No iron or ironstand, no hair dryer, walls cracking all over the place, toilet leaking etc. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND RUN!

The environmental hygiene is very good, the staff reception is also very friendly, and it is convenient with easy parking.

Ceiling was leaking, toilet had mold, bloody bed and towels.

I am very unhappy with the experience I had staying here, everything seemed perfectly normal until I noticed the soap dispenser was completely broken off the wall. Secondly, found a total of 3-4 small roaches on the floor, bed was completely fine. When I asked the staff about getting another room or refund, they told me no refunds and that there were no other rooms available, which I find very hard to believe considering the lack of cars on the premises... Definitely recommend spending a few extra bucks to get something nicer.

Comfortable and clean. I don't really appreciate having my picture taken at check in. They looked at my drivers license, and that should be enough.

First hotel I've started at with linoleum floors and the towels were just awful, but everything else was quite good
