Sheraton Grand Rio Hotel & Resort

It's rare to find a hotel in Rio with a private beach. The views are great, it's clean, and the service is excellent. Although the facilities are a bit old, they are well-maintained!

This is indeed a great hotel, and the sea view is particularly stunning.

We weren't informed of this strange charge before check-in, but at check-out they charged us an extra 80 dollars as a "facilities wear and tear fee." I'm speechless. As a long-established hotel, if Sheraton is going to charge for facilities, please at least update them. The hairdryer was like a bomber, and the bathtub was extremely dirty. Next to the toilet, there was something we thought was a urinal, but when we pressed it, water sprayed out. It's truly rare to see such outdated facilities. Beware!

Hotel just outside Leblon but recommended for families also because of the safety you find in the structure. Great services, fantastic breakfast, swimming pools tennis courts and games room, easy access to the beach. The rooms are of good size (we had the one with 2 beds) but a little dated.

You can go down to the exclusive beach. As a resort hotel, the facilities are quite rich, including tennis courts, swimming pools, and children's playgrounds. As a five-star hotel, the price is moderate and the cost performance is very high. I am afraid that the noisy sound of the waves will have a little impact.
