We stayed at this hotel during our trip to Rio de Janeiro and were very pleased with our choice. The location is excellent — close to Santos Dumont Airport and not far from the city center, which makes getting around very convenient. The room was bright, modern, and very comfortable. The beds were cozy, the bedding was high quality, and the room had everything needed for a comfortable stay. We were especially impressed by the cleanliness — housekeeping was done to a high standard. The breakfast was varied and delicious, offering a wide selection of hot dishes, fresh fruit, pastries, and aromatic coffee. The atmosphere in the restaurant was pleasant and relaxing. The staff was professional, friendly, and attentive to detail. You can truly feel the care for guests and the high standard of service. The hotel fully met our expectations. An excellent combination of comfort, quality, and a convenient location. We will definitely return again!

The hotel is very nice and it's close to the airport. It only takes ten minutes to walk there. Our room faces away from the airport, so we can't hear any noise at all. The breakfast in the hotel is also very good. They even extended our check-out time to 2 p.m., allowing us to go back to the room to take a shower and rest for a while.

Internet was not working, no wifi, not in rooms,and not anywhere in the reception or lobby area. No English breakfast tea available, house keeping staff did not replace items in room properly, intercom phone not working. Old fashion rooms (room No. 753). Staff had no smiles or welcoming on their faces or in actions. Only one restaurant staff, Rafoele seemed a bit friendly, and was willing to use phone app to communicate in English. I would not recommend Novotel RJ Santos Dumont to anyone who needs wifi to do business or to communicate

A very average hotel experience. I will start with the slight complaints: The room was not perfectly clean (the bed skirting was stained, for example), but the sheets, pillows, and mattress were clean. The hotel was a bit loud at times, as you can hear other guests in the hall from inside the rooms. The room service was very slow, and my fiancée’s order was messed up the first time (she recieved the wrong item). However, the kitchen quickly made things right by sending the correct order. My food was alright, and she really liked what she ordered. The room was a decent size. It had a full-sized couch, large bathroom, and a double bed in the room we booked. The shower was amazing. It was the highlight of the trip for me. The room had a view of The Redeemer which was nice. We booked this hotel mostly due to its proximity to Santos Dumont airport; it was perfect for us in that regard. If you have an early flight from SDU, this is an easy hotel to recommend.

The novohotel is very Nice.

The hotel is near the main street, but it is very quiet at night. The local airport is within easy reach and the breakfast was good. Satisfied with the staff's service attitude, the cleanliness is acceptable.

Old and in need of repairs and renovation. Air conditioning makes a lot of noise… Location ok for what I needed, but not safe. I wouldn't go back, unless the distance is worth it.

Great location, close to Santos Dummont airport, city center and connection to the south via Flamengo landfill. Great bed, clean and new room. Have a nice breakfast. Good infrastructure and service. The price is a little expensive for the location, but it's worth it.

There was no hot water on any of the 3 (three) days of our stay. I request a full refund of the daily fees paid.
