The hotel's location is superb, very close to the Obelisco, Teatro Colón, and El Ateneo Grand Splendid. It was the only hotel on our South America trip that allowed early check-in and late check-out. They also helped us arrange a taxi, definitely recommended!

Rooms are not very new but ok in general. Our room had a yard view that was not very nice but not noisy. The only thing is not good is that water in the plumbings doesn't drain well which causes inconvenience

Positive: The room was large and faced the (not very attractive) inner courtyard – but it was very quiet. The hotel's location is good (Posto 5) with restaurants and shops nearby. There's a vegan restaurant (Teva Deli, recommended) close by. A large breakfast buffet is offered. The reception staff are happy to provide information about sightseeing tours or onward travel to Buzios, and they will even pick you up directly from the hotel. Terrible management of the problems, I had to leave the hotel due to water problems (several passengers) they lied to us all day that the water would arrive and it did not, they promised to refund the unused nights and it did not, they did not even bother to relocate me.
