Hotel Atlântico Copacabana

The hotel is in an old and outdated building. The staff, however, were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The lifts are very old and slow, which is a problem considering the building has 14 floors and only two elevators. The swimming pool is very nice and has a beautiful view. Unfortunately, the bathroom in the room was very disappointing. It was old, with rust and visible build-up of dirt, and there was mould in the shower. The windows also have no safety locks and can be opened completely, which felt really dangerous, especially on the higher floors. On the positive side, the location is excellent and the breakfast was very tasty. Overall, the friendly staff, great location, beautiful pool and good breakfast were the highlights, but the condition and safety of the room and bathroom need significant improvement.

Well located at Copacabana, nice view from rooftop, but outdated furniture and didn’t seem like properly managed. They charge 30 reals for luggage storage. No early check-in

Staff at reception were good, they make you fill a very long online form that I had to try 4 times to make it work. Room was very old, and in bad condition. Floors were not clean and the bedsheets did not fit the bed. I stayed only 1 night.

Hotel is located just opposite of metro station. Room is ok. Facilities seems a little bit old. Luggage storage needs to pay a fee (R$30) is a bad point.

I paid a premium rate but had no internet. I asked at check-in if there was English speaking TV available and was told yes. There isn't. They charge you for water In the fridge. No way to get coffee before 6am. Bed was comfortable.

Good breakfast, and good enough location.

Location is good however you will have strange experience when you want to store your luggage for few hours after you checked out, cause you need to pay 30 local dollars for this service. I never have this experience before.
