I have stayed in 2 1/2 star hotels but I don’t think this one was in the top tier in that group. The rooms were very dated and the mattress certainly had some history to it. The only food available was a vending machine that only took cash. I didn’t see an ATM machine on the premises. I’m not sure what everybody else is like in his post Covid world, but I seldom carry one dollar bills. Thankfully I found $1.50 in quarters, and therefore was able to purchase a candy bar. No streaming on the TV. I was actually interested in a quick work out but I didn’t see a room with a treadmill or a universal. Leslie would’ve been nice if breakfast was a little later than 9:30 AM on a Sunday.
With that said, the morning staff was nice and even though I was 15 minutes late for breakfast, they let me stay and have a bowl of cereal.
