From the moment we were greeted by Francesca with her beautiful smile and genuine passion for hospitality I knew we picked the right place to stay. The grounds are immaculate and the view of the lake and mountains spectacular. The food is amazing and the sommelier is a real stand out such a wonderful young man with so much knowledge and passion for his job. The pools are pristine and soothing. The rooms are immaculate a credit to the housekeeping staff. I travel the world regularly and stay in the top hotels of the world. Let me assure you this is one of the very best. My wife and I thank you and don’t want to go home.

AMAZING TRULY UNBELIEVABLE. The Lido Palace is truly a 5 star hotel with breathtaking views. The entire staff were so professional and courteous starting with reception. Daniel, from the start made us feel so welcome (tips for dinner restaurant and tours all excellent) Diego in the main Restaurant fabulous attitude and our maid Lorena who takes care of the whole 2nd floor was a delight to chat with as I constantly needed to change or forgot something while she was cleaning our room always laughing and smiling. One of the most euphoric places in the world.

We have just returned from a 5 night stay - and can honestly say this was one of , if not the best hotel we have stayed in for some time. Our room was huge , modern, immaculately clean - and with free soft drinks in the mini- bar - unheard of nowadays. I don’t remember EVER having such a good nights sleep whilst away from home, the bed was huge and so comfortable. The staff were super friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast included was buffet style continental and was superb- hot breakfast was ordered from the table. The grounds are immaculate and the location was right on the lake and only a few minutes from the town - where there are numerous great restaurants bars and shops A definite return is on the cards !

Everything was fantastic! Excellent staff, superb food (breakfast, lunch, dinner, Year End dinner), very refined interiors, suites on the 4th floor are gorgeous, beautiful spa and swimming pool, best location in Riva del Garda, etc...

Outstanding location and warm welcoming! We had some drinks in the panoramic terrace, my personal favorite was the “Little Italy”, thank you Stefano and Diego for such a caring service! It really feels like home every time we come back!

The hotel in no way deserves the 5*. How did this hotel get the "Leading Hotels of the World" seal of approval? It lacks very much. The room service is poor, breakfast in the room better leave, as well as food in the room, breakfast buffet not really recommendable, spa and its treatments questionable (very peculiar staff), communicated prices are not adhered to and corrected only after consultation, the rooms need renovations here and there, in the room there are tree bugs, atmosphere is cold and impersonal. Conclusion: Never again!

My family and I recently spent two weeks at Lido Palace and loved every second of it. The hotel is beautiful, with the beautiful restaurant, bar, spa, garden and lovely rooms. The rooms were kept spotless during our stay by the lovely housekeeping team and fresh linens, towels and drinks were provided daily for us. The beds in the rooms are extremely comfy and the views are beautiful. The breakfast was always wonderful and a lovely start to the day, with a beautiful spread of fresh fruits, yoghurt, honey-comb and a selection of fresh pastries every day, as well as a selection of hot food that was made to order by the lovely chefs and always tasted amazing. The staff were always so lovely and attentive, they were always smiling and welcomed us every morning. By the end, they memorised our breakfast orders and knew what we all liked. We would also like to thank Diego and the Bali Bar team. We visited the bar at least once a day and were always met with smiles and friendly faces. The staff are very attentive and always kept our drinks topped us and brought us little snacks throughout the day. They also made an effort to get to know us and we knew all of them by the end of the holiday and I was sad to say goodbye when it was time to leave. The drinks are also delicious, I highly recommend the Piña Colada! We also attended Diego's Negroni Cocktail masterclass where we learned about the history of the Negroni and lots of recipes for different types of Negroni. We even got the opportunity to make one ourselves and have Diego judge it.(He was definitely trying to be nice when he said they tasted good haha). The spa in Lido Palace is beautiful and the treatments are so relaxing, you definitely feel a difference after them. The staff in the spa, are again, super friendly, welcoming and attentive. Overall I cannot fault Lido Palace. The hotel is stunning and the team that work there just perfect it, they made the holiday one of our most memorable experiences and I am already making plans to return!

Stunning views, wonderful food at the restaurant, make sure to keep room for desserts. Top chefs, special mention to Stefano Rossi and the pastry chef (sorry didnt get his name). Good, at times utterly excellent, wine pairing. Beautiful view from the restaurant (watch out for the mosquitoes). The bar is great too with Diego running the show and great knowledge on mojitos from Stefano. Good choice of cocktails. All staff are lovely. The only criticism is that restaurant service can get chaotic/ slow when they are very busy. Excellent breakfast buffet. Next door to the lake, easy walk to the Bastione funicular which has a great view.

Amazing property by Lake Garda. In the charming city of Riva del Garda. Stunning gardens around the grand mainbuilding. Nice pool area with both inside & outside pool. Nice lobby & bar area with cool decor. Restaurant was good, even the concept was changed from our last visit. Super nice atmosphere outside with great view & live pianomusic. Service are superb all over the building. They have some issues though. The rooms need renovation, they are not anymore on the level with rest of the property. 4 floor where the best suites are is to hot in summer, they must improve aircondition there in a 5 star hotel. Outside swimmingpool has way to cold water. The gym is to hot & without access to cold water like it was before. Easy to fix. We love this hotel & Riva, so highly recommended & hopefully they will adress the issues.

I booked this hotel through American Express travel because it was the leading hotels of the world and one of the only five star in the neighborhood. I had no idea that they used ******* to make this booking. The lobby is lovely… that’s about it. The rooms and small and dark. Dark grey and brown. We didn’t have a balcony or lake view (the reason we went to lake garda)in the photos it looks like they are on the lake front with direct access. They are not. Many hotels along the lake have direct access to dip into the lake. The pool area faces the hotel and not the beautiful scenic mountains or lake. There was one person trying to service this pool area and he was totally unable to cope. There is a lawn next to the pool with a few loungers. Good luck if they are all taken during the busy season. It took me about one hour and a lot of running around, to get somebody to bring me a lounger out to the lawn. Definitely not five star service. I expressed my views to the front desk associate and asked for a refund so we could go elsewhere. They refused. The lady at the front desk did however let me know that she could book me another hotel from her computer for another $2,500 and just forfeit the over $2,000 I had already paid in advance for this booking. What a nerve!!! All in all worth a miss. Nothing exceptional here… but the price.

Experience 1 The room is very tight The shower is terrible , we can’t move inside the box. The facilities is good The restaurant is terrible and expensive, Make No sense , when the food is good ok , but expensive and bad, Is the worst you can feel. About the room , We had a problem in our room, has no electricity, we complain with General Manager Mr Danieli , but he can’t help us, and we stay all night long without A/C and electricity. They said has no rooms anymore, and we must to stay in a worst night in our life . They gave to us miserable $180 euros discount, and they think was a enough they can do for us . Definitely , my wife and I ,traveling around the world with a differently experiences , and Lido Palace Hotel is never a good choice vs Price and Benefits, We don’t recommended. Terrible!!!!! And

Our Deluxe rooms are 45 square meters rooms and the particular design appeals to many guests; I'm sure you will have appreciated the view of the secular park and the mountains that can be admired from the three sides of the room. Focusing on the electrical aspect, as soon as you reported the problem, we immediately contacted our maintainer who immediately got ready to intervene. I personally who have been interested in this unpleasant problem have proceeded to inform you but you yourself reported that you did not want anyone to enter the room because your luggage was in the room opened. As soon as you and your wife went out for dinner, I personally checked the problem and I found it possible to partially operate some lights and also the air conditioning but in the evening, when my colleague proposed to show these aspects, you simply preferred to prevent others from entering the room. I am a person who is able to do many things, and perform numerous tasks even simultaneously but unfortunately, I have no knowledge of electrical systems. After you left, our technician came into your room and fixed the problem within approximately 30 minutes. About our restaurant; We are truly sorry you did not enjoy our cuisine. Wonderful hotel. Staff were amazing and so helpful. I must give special mention to Daniele at the front desk. He was so incredibly helpful and friendly. Roberta in the restaurant and bar was just brilliant too. The rooms are well spaced and very modern and clean. The pool area is lovely and always kept neat and tidy. The indoor pool has the best temperature to and the spa area is just brilliant. Breakfast is good. A good selection. The food choices at the pool could be increased but off very good quality. The bar area is spectacular with a great view of the Lake. Overall a fantastic stay and I would rush back in a heartbeat.

Maybe our favourite hotel ever, certainly the friendliest most helpful staff. Our stay was made perfect by this hotel . The food in the restaurant was really tasty and I so appreciated the fact that they took our sons allergies seriously. The hotel is in a perfect position to just stroll into Riva del Garda. The pool and spa are top quality and it was all such a relaxing 4 nights .

Hotel is absolutely amazing. Loved the food, location and the staff are outstanding!!! I had the best facial and left my necklace in the spa - the hotel was amazing and arranged for it to be shipped back to the USA. Also loved that we received a bag of goodies for the road when we left.
