MUMIAN RiZhao Hotel Reviews

The hotel environment is very good and the location is convenient. We booked a family room and mentioned we had three children (6-year-old twins and an 11-year-old girl) when checking in. However, the staff member checking cards at breakfast interrogated us repeatedly, like we were criminals. First, they asked the older girl's age, then questions like, "Are all three of these children yours?" Did they think I just picked up some random kids off the street to sneak them into their breakfast? By that point, I already felt offended. Honestly, I wasn't impressed with their breakfast; there were no expensive ingredients. I just wanted to help the kids get some food. Then, this staff member, with a displeased and reluctant expression, arbitrarily added a rule, saying, "Normally, a family can only bring two children." It was as if I was getting a huge discount by eating there. I think if you have a clear pricing policy, just charge me accordingly, or just politely seat us. This constant grumbling was really off-putting. 1. I booked a family room, which clearly indicates more people. The staff saw the three children during check-in and didn't mention any issues or special considerations for having more children. 2. When I woke up around 10 AM, I called to ask about the dining hours and casually asked about the children's charges. The front desk replied, "Children under 12 eat for free." I came to eat breakfast, not to be interrogated like a criminal. During holidays, the hotel charges a premium, 2.5 times the usual price. A little customer service awareness would prevent such condescending questioning. I don't mind being charged (although I haven't encountered hotels charging extra for children's meals in recent years, I can completely accept pricing rules). As a long-time Ctrip member, I've stayed in quite a few hotels, both personally and with my family, but this is the first time I've been questioned about whether my children were mine or just freeloading at breakfast. It's truly an eye-opener and I felt genuinely offended.

The service and cleanliness were okay, but the soundproofing was absolutely terrible! I could clearly hear the background music playing from the shopping street downstairs, looping in my ears from morning till night. It felt like a constant music brainwash! Plus, I'd occasionally hear kids running wild in the hallway. If you're a light sleeper, seriously reconsider staying here!

The hotel is conveniently located right next to Wanjiahui, making dining out super easy. There's an underground parking lot with plenty of spaces. The staff were really welcoming and even upgraded my room for free. The room decor was stylish, with a separate shower and toilet, and everything was clean and tidy. Breakfast was extensive and delicious, and the dining area was beautifully designed. The books in the lounge area were captivating, and it's a great spot for photos.

The hotel upgraded my room type, and its location is excellent, right next to MixC World, which is very convenient. The lobby on the first floor is great, though the cleanliness could use some improvement. Overall, it offers good value for money!

Great hotel location, convenient for getting around. The rooms are new, very clean, and quite spacious. Breakfast offers a good variety too. The front desk service was also good and quick to resolve any issues. Very satisfied.

My first hotel in Rizhao was a Hyatt property. It's quite new and meets basic standards. It's in the city center, right next to MixC mall, which was super convenient for dining with kids. The dining options here are much better than at the beachfront hotels. Staying downtown and taking a taxi to the beach offers a much better overall experience compared to some of the older, run-down hotels by the sea.

The hotel's location is excellent. On one side, there's MixC shopping mall, and on the other, a street full of dining and entertainment options. At night, there's even a lively night market outside. It's also super convenient to get to all the attractions in Rizhao! The room is quite spacious with a well-thought-out layout and appealing decor. They even offered a pixel art (pindou) experience, and the staff member was very patient and gentle in guiding us. My child absolutely loved it! 💕

The hotel's location is very convenient, with a shopping mall downstairs. It's also easy to get to Wanpingkou for food. The room was clean, no strange smells, and the mattress was very comfortable!

Facilities: Great and well-equipped, the room was spacious. Cleanliness: Quite clean. Environment: The environment was lovely. There's even a 'pindou' (bead art) shop on the first floor which was very popular. My daughter had a lot of fun making bead art, and the hotel even gave us a coupon – five-star review! Service: All the staff were excellent. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant.

They didn't even bother to take the towels out of the laundry basket. I'm speechless at their hygiene standards.

My stay at Kapok Hyatt Centric during my trip to Rizhao far exceeded my expectations. The hotel's new Chinese-style design is elegant and timeless, and the lobby's book bar is quiet and refined, creating a perfectly relaxing atmosphere. The location is a huge plus, right next to the MixC shopping mall, offering a one-stop solution for dining, entertainment, and shopping. It's also not far from Wanpingkou Beach, making getting around very convenient. The room's cleanliness was impeccable, with smart controls throughout, allowing for one-touch operation of curtains and lighting. The mattress and pillows were very comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The bathroom facilities were complete, with plenty of hot water. The staff were polite and attentive, and check-in/check-out was efficient. This hotel is highly recommended for both leisure travel and short getaways. I'd definitely come back.

Right next to Vientiane City, the lobby is connected to a book bar, and the hotel offered a complimentary 'pixel art' craft experience which was really nice and located right on the ground floor lobby.

Extremely noisy! So loud! First, the downstairs hawker was shouting about oden, crispy sausages (3 yuan each, 5 yuan for two), and kids' meals all night long. The windows aren't soundproof at all. We even had to add an extra bed in the bathroom ourselves. The front desk just replied, 'That's how we are, nothing we can do.'

The bedding was a bit subpar compared to other 5-star hotels I've stayed at. However, the complimentary pixel art (perler bead) experience was quite enjoyable, and the service was also very good. The hotel is conveniently located close to shopping malls and attractions, and the room offers a wide, open view.
