Romantic Hotels in Zhangjiajie

Honestly I cannot praise the wonderful staff here enough. From the moment we arrived, mid torrential rain, the staff and their service was impeccable - rushing out in the rain to grab our luggage. The wonderful ladies at reception made the trip to Zhangjiajie smooth, organising car rides to and from the entrance of the national park, helping book tickets, and giving great sight seeing advice. They even helped us order food deliveries on some of the late nights we got back. On the last day I lost my AirPods, well they were taken/stolen during my time in the park by someone - and the staff were very helpful in trying to sort out a police report etc. Again, the service here is second to none and I cannot praise it enough. The hotel itself is modern, quiet and clean. The room was a good size too. The breakfast was also decent, offering a range of selections. I have no pictures of the hotel itself sadly but here’s some of the area over the past four days.

The hotel is very beautiful and very well located. Some of the stuff were extremely nice and helpful, while others showed zero interest in trying to communicate with foreign customers. When we arrived at 3, we were told that one of the rooms was not ready. We came back at 4 - same thing. The check in is supposed to be at 2. We didn’t get any apology and I feel like for the price we paid it’s not acceptable. It was hard to understand how restaurant works. One day we asked for food and they told us there was no food, the next day we saw people eating and managed to order. We were told that you need to inform them in advance if you want to have dinner on a last day only. My brother speaks some Chinese and in other places we stayed at people tried to understand him, but at this hotel one employee literally turned away when he tried to talk to him. However, many other workers were very nice to us and tried their best to communicate. It’s a good place to stay at if you speak Chinese. Amenities and views are great, just the restaurant is confusing and also the bar is not open yet as we were told.

The room is beautiful & exactly as advertised, even more spacious than expected. The host 小刘 is very professional and provided us with excellent customer service. Ride between hotel and train station can be arranged directly with him, and he also helped us customise our itinerary to Zhangjiajie National Park. Breakfast was nice & freshly prepared. The previous article was metaphysical. This article is about something practical. We were a group of three people, two and a half foreigners, and we entered Hunan from Hong Kong. First of all, all the photos are original and unprocessed. Hardware: No matter where the guests come from, if they have certain aesthetic requirements, they will not be shocked when they come to Guyu. From the design of the homestay, the selection of flowers and trees in the park (the colors of the flowers in the park are as beautiful as dyed), to the selection of bedding in the room, to the selection of toiletries and carpets in the bathroom, it can be seen that the owner has put a lot of thought into it. The bed and pillow are quite comfortable. We slept like babies for several days. In one of our rooms, standing on the balcony, when the weather is good, you can see the Tianmen Cave. The whole park is very clean and there is always someone cleaning. And it is filled with the fragrance of flowers. It is especially sweet after the rain. I heard that you can pick it in autumn and make tea in winter. The Chinese restaurant is a farmhouse. The staff in the Chinese restaurant are also very warm and cute. The Western restaurant currently serves barbecue and breakfast. We don't have high requirements for food, and we can't eat spicy food anyway. As long as it's clean and we know what the ingredients are, we don't care much. The toilet in the western restaurant can be changed into a toilet. The swimming pool looks beautiful, but it's just for people to check in and take pictures. Because there are no lounge chairs, no towels, and no place to sit. But you can ask the western restaurant to buy beer! Software: Refer to the previous article. The most valuable thing in the whole hotel is the butlers. There are good hardware everywhere, especially in today's China. But it's not easy to have such a group of people in such a local place. We didn't worry about anything along the way. The butler helped to book various tickets (because we didn't know how to do it) and provided transportation. And the butler is on standby 24 hours a day, and any problems need to be solved immediately. It's like a god. The cats and dogs in the B&B are another plus. Those kittens are so cute that I want to secretly put them in my bag and bring them back to Hong Kong :) The natural and elegant environment, coupled with a few cute people, a dog who likes to play with stones, and a few kittens who are forced to work, who would not linger here?

The hotel is awesome : rooms are spacious and the view is incredible ! You can have dinner at the hotel - they have quite a big menu :) The staff was very professional - they took us from the airport, they drove us to the national park and helped us with the itinerary ! I cannot express how grateful I am for this experience. We will definitely come back 🥰

I can feel the boss's dedication! The facilities are basically complete. The tent is three meters high and the space is not cramped. The service is also quite good, free pick-up and drop-off at the forest park, and they also sent us to the airport the next day. It is very suitable for friends who want to relax and lie down. The next day, the boss was worried that we would be bored, so he took us to the mountain to dig bamboo shoots, and helped us to prepare them for us to take away. It was so thoughtful! Next time I go to Zhangjiajie, I will choose this one again~

I started planning a month in advance~ I'm glad I came here and I will definitely come again~ I will stay longer next time. I have stayed in many various B&Bs~ This one must be the best for me~ Food: Auntie’s cooking is delicious. I feel like I have gained a lot of weight after staying here for three or four days. It’s clean and hygienic, and the dishes are exquisite. It’s very comfortable to eat, just like at home. You can order whatever you want, and they’re all delicious. Look at my photos. Just know it! Environment: Quiet, healing place Facilities: From the design to the materials used, there is only one feeling about the house. It is thoughtful and expensive🤣It is full of details. The boss is really attentive. If the B&B can be built like this, I guess the boss really plans to stay there for a lifetime. Hygiene: clean, the aunt wiped every corner very carefully, and couldn't find any problems Service: From the reception by the housekeeper, to the front desk, to the landlady, and the boss, I really have nothing to say. It feels familiar and cordial like an old friend. I feel that this thing cannot fool anyone, so I love it here! The only shortcoming is: this B&B really lacks promotion... so I was still worried about whether it would be bad when I was making a guide, haha~

This accommodation is situated 10mins drive away from the Zhangjiajie National Park East Entrance, away from the crowd. There are butlers serving all the guests, arranging for ticket buying at a cheaper rate, driving you to the national park, massage or restaurant. The restaurant in this accommodation serves really delicious food at a reasonable price. We get to enjoy tea and looking at the mountain while it was raining in the morning. A quaint experience that I definitely reccommend. Thank you to Mr Hu, Tingting, Ah Shen and everyone from the accommodation for making the stay so comfortable, and it is a nice place to rest your mind and body. The dogs and cats are very cute too!

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Upon entering, you get the chic hotel vibes. General area is well organized and had free breakfast. Right in the happening area of Wulingyuan. I have the say the bedding was very comfortable and had a great night’s sleep. What I found very interesting was it was hustle and bustle outside with noise but my room was almost silent with the windows open. Recommended if you’re trying to enter via east gate to Zhangjiajie national park.

My partner and I had the pleasure of staying at the no. 5 valley in. From having a long travel day and arriving to the accomodation at 9pm we were greeted by the worker Frankie and another wonderful worker carrying our luggage in and welcoming us with tea in the reception area which was so nice and cosy with a fireplace running. Despite Kitchen being closed, they organised meals for us as they knew we hadn’t yet. They welcomed us to our room where we were absolutely blown away with how beautiful and comfortable it was. It was the best hotel we stayed out in our whole trip to China, we loved the tea room that it came with. Frankie went above and beyond in helping us have a great stay and helping us navigate the national park. Frankie provided us with transfers to the national park whenever we wanted and gave us lots of tips for our future trips. I highly recommend staying here for a combination of comfort and luxury. Thanks guys! The animals who live there are so cute as well hehe
