4L Collection Hotels properties in Rome

For the purpose for which we used it, it had an excellent location - close to the congress center. There are bus and metro stops nearby. It is clean. The breakfast is good. Unfortunately, we had bad luck - the maid who served our room was more absent-minded, which led to unpleasant experiences - poisoning with a detergent left in a mineral water bottle and loss of personal belongings - pajama with the laundry. Fortunately, there were no medical consequences. The team reacted adequately and expressed their apologies, they found and returned the lost pajamas. I am sure that there was no intention in her actions, but detergents should not be allowed to be poured into packaging intended for consumption!!

Ctrip's picture was inconsistent with the actual room. At the beginning, we gave us a super small and old room. The air conditioners were all awkward. Later, we negotiated with the hotel to give a slightly more spacious room to the corner, but the toilet was At the corner, it was easy to hit the sink. I asked the hotel staff that they said that my room could only give me this. Why is Ctrip’s picture so new? Did you close the money in our normal room and then book a special room for us? The actual room and the picture are completely inconsistent. Like the guest house, it is not safe to go to the front desk when you go out. The location is OK, the breakfast is the same for three days, the taste is average, when going, the city tax of 6 Euro per person per day, the price is high, the hotel achievements, don't believe the picture of Ctrip.

Perfect position for the event we needed to attend and well connected with the tram. Not too central if you want to walk around the city though. Nice staff, all very friendly and welcoming. Clean room, maybe a little small but it’s ok. Spacious bathroom, although strange choice of location for the wc (if you’re tall you might hit the shower door, I certainly did). Vanity and welcome set were very appreciated, especially the slippers and the toothbrushes. The breakfast is nice and has a lot of options, unless you’re vegan (hopefully they do and you just need to ask). Overall, nice place.

We arrived at the hotel earlier than the official check-in time and were given our room without any issues, which was a positive start. Our stay had already been paid in advance, and the receptionist was able to find our reservation by name. However, he still asked us to pay €270 again, which we unfortunately paid due to the language barrier, even though we were only supposed to pay the city tax. Later, my boyfriend noticed the amount that had been charged and we went back to resolve the situation. The receptionist then acknowledged the mistake and refunded the money. Although he initially seemed a bit unpleasant, he later apologized. In the end, we only paid around €30 for the city tax. The room itself was okay, but we experienced problems with electricity – it kept going out, so only the bathroom light and one bedside lamp were working, which was quite inconvenient. The breakfast was good, and overall the hotel was not bad, but due to the unpleasant start and the issues with the room, I cannot give a higher rating.

위치가 관광지와 꽤나 멈. (버스타고 최소10분에서 30분 가량 걸림) 그래도 대사관들 모여있는 동네라서 로마 다니면서 제일 안전하다는 느낌 받음. 거지0명 노숙자 0명 내가 싱글룸을 예약하긴 했는데 방이 너무 작아서 당황^^ 근데 이게 로마가 다 그렇다니 더비싼방 예약안한 내탓임 호텔 어메니티와 호텔내의 향이 오렌지꽃 향으로 통일되어있는데 이 향이 너어어무 좋다. 어메니티 사고싶었음. 1층에 거실..?인지 쇼파가 있는 공간이 아주 코지 그잡채. 호텔안에 바에 있는 바텐더 핫함.

Just an observation - the key card for the room sometimes becomes inoperable and it needs to be renewed at the reception. It happens more often than what is expected.

We will be back!! Beautiful hotel in a fabulous location, within walking distance of the Vatican and near the river. Staff are so friendly and helpful. It was our silver anniversary and we were upgraded to a superior room which was stunning (they even left us some lovely flowers in the room). The only drawback was we couldn’t get the coffee machine to work and there were never enough coffee / milk sachets meaning we kept having to ask reception. Beautiful roof top terrace and lovely restaurant - breakfast was nice enough. Drinks in the bar and rooftop are very very expensive though - tia Maria and coke is €18!
